I used to own a few Paiste Black Alphas. They didn't sound completely like shit and i only got them because the black looked amazing with my drums' finish. There's only a few ways to go for quality cymbals. (Notice, not QUANTITY) You don't need two sets of hats. Zildjian: A's, K's, and Z's. Sabian: Legacy, Vault, HH, HHX. Meinl: Byzance
