neat little fun fact: the sword familiar when leveled up high enough you can swing it it's kinda powerful but there are better swords in the game also "sword brothers" spell really powerful but a pain the butt to perform

at :57 you do a jump that brings you to the ceiling. how do you do that?

can someone explain the familiars powers i know the fairy girl heals and revives u. the sword and devil thing seem the same to me but the sword always attacks. and the bat helps u ONLY in bat form. im not saying these r the only things these guys can do but these are what i know. can someone who knows more explaine to me what they can do like there attacks and all there moves itll help me pick the one best for my playing style

All the familiars are good (my favorite is the bat) except for the ghost. The ghost sucks ass.

He sucks for a long time. Eventually he starts sucking life points instead of ass though. He does eventually start healing you by attacking and sucking out life points from enemies. It's just leveling up to the point where he does that.

Faerie Card: (Library)

Fairy Card: (Olrox Quarters)

Sword Card: (Olrox Quarters)

Ghost Card: Upper part of the castle

Bat Card: upper part to the right (where you meet the first boss

Demon Card: (Catacomb)

N. Demon Card: (Colosseum)

@kittcute Nose Demon and 2nd Fairy showed up originally in Saturn Version. I want PSP version though since it has most of the extras later version had.

on the psp if you have the dracula x chronicles you can unluck symphony of the night and get those two japanse familiars and you can play as maria

there are 7 familiars not 5, there is also Nose Demon & the 2nd Faerie, the nose demon is needed in the inverted castle to press the switch, just like the demon is needed in the normal castle to press the switch
