I am no B-boy expert, but here are my 2 cents:

R1 = ATN

R2 = Rainen

R3 = Rainen

R4 = ATN

R5 = ATN/Possible tie

Overall view: ATN definitely has cleaner moves. Rainen is always so sloppy. But then again, Rainen has better power moves and even adds style to his dancing, so that influences a lot for the crowd; the reason why the 5th round is a possible tie is because Rainen's headspin was dope, but mostly a crowd pleaser. Idk, it's hard to say who really won. They're both just so good.

I feel like I have to present one of these "IMO"s to make it a fair fight.

1st Round:

ATN had cleaner, more dynamic powermoves, smoother transitions, and kept it clean the entire round while Rainen had a choppy transition coming out of the flare and an iffy one from the coin drop to footwork. Neither killed the beat, so ATN took it. Keep in mind ATN did mill-halo both ways which is definitely harder than doing swipe both ways.

ATN came in strong, but the transition coming out of the reverse 2k was a bit choppy. Rainen messed up on his intro, but his power and musicality made up for it. Therefore, Rainen took this round.

3rd Round:

ATN had a short, but nasty & fluid round. Only thing to note was his little mishap on the under sweep. Rainen's overall set was okay at best, nothing I haven't really seen before (3:27 MN Joe has a doper variation lol), outro was weak. Therefore, ATN took this one.

Again, ATN came in strong and had a nasty, fluid round and his footwork was on beat. Could've stuck the ending freeze longer, but he didn't crash so good enough. Rainen had an iffy transition out of the flare, but the leg grab head swipe was dope, I know he tapped his foot on the mill-cricket on purpose, but it looked weird and he didn't hit his finishing freeze. Therefore, ATN took this.

5th Round:

Need I critique? It's pretty clear ATN took this one.

Both did dope, ATN just did better IMO. I'm a big fan of both Bboys so don't talk smack about my critique, I posted it because I currently can't understand why people thought Rainen won (if it was a battle). I thought it'd be proper to analyze it since people are just saying who they think won. I am by no means a proper Bboy judge, which is why I had to watch this video over and over to get my judgement in check. Mad respects to ATN and Rainen, epic Bboys in the scene.

Just my opinion, ATN is much cleaner in footwork, and he has more control over the beat and keeping his set fresh. Unlike Rainen, if you look carefully, most of his moves are similar and just not as smooth, which gets me bored after the second set, I thought he could done better than dat. Prop to both bboys thou, but I say ATN took this one. Not sure why so many people vote for Rainen.

@puhahajk Rainen didn't crash on his third flare, that's actually a Bboy move that I've seen a lot and I didn't see a second crash. The reason I think Rainen took this battle was because he had great variety and ATN's first set was nothing but a power set ... clean but just power. ATN's second set was mostly power too. They both killed this battle but I liked what Rainen showed more. It really depends on what you prefer here. I also think a lot of people think Rainen is "mainstream" because ..

I've been checking into ATN's stuff this past year, and the kid's really dope. He'll be doing 1v1 comps on a big scale in the near future for sure. I know it's American pride, but Im glad a new gen of dope bboys have been catching international reps like DOMkey and Toyz.

@girtisholland I honestly expected ATN to win this battle. I know it was just an exhibition, but I'm a little shocked that Rainen took it. Big ups to Rainen though, he's definitely improved just in the past year or two, not that he's ever been bad but I guess I'd say he's improved again and gotten even better. And yes I definitely agree with you on ATN, he's going to be huge. He's the real deal. I've seen a couple of videos on him and watched him at a couple comps and he gets doper everytime.
