The San Francisco Chronicle is considering that idea for their comment board. They are considering making commentors post their names or email when making a comment. It makes sense if you think about it. If you're going to weigh in on something publicly, then you should be honest enough to give your name also. Their argument is that they spend all their time putting their name on criticicisms of government and issues, so people that respond online should at least be willing to do that also.

I think that people on the internet, that post people's names on the internet and say things about them, should be man(or woman) enough to put their names behind their words. I think would cut down on the slander REAL quick.

I went back to school to visit some of the fraternity brothers when I heard about this website juicy campus, After reveiwing the site for myself I have to say I am really ashamed of the students at Ole Miss. I could not believe some of the things I read, but what was the most sad was people dropping other peoples names, it's time they grow up and get a life, because they obviously have to much time on their hands.

I went to high school in Central Illinois. I ran for the position of Liaison of the Hopewell District of Student Councils. Then I met her. In knee high boots, Jill Belsley. Needless to say, I lost. The end.

We're dealing with this issue in our student government and it's led to some pretty ugly occurences. One girl I know had her car vandalized. I hope the website gets sued by new jersey.

You know, this juicycampus thing is not a surprise to me. It's a cyber-extension of our present reality. People so afraid of confronting eachother verbally. If someone's mad at me, for instance, they'd prefer keeping quiet and waiting till I leave the room to say anything. Then they would play it off like we're friends only to say horrible things about me when I'm not there. I think it is cowardly. That's what juicy campus is supporting: Cowardly acts.
