ussr russia use 2 american computers,,,

russia always copy / steal / some shares from america online,,,

russia is the higher rates of hackers / scammers

  • Just the governments slowly taking over the internet and real life.

  • Seeding right now for all the whiners out there.

  • These are the same people who get on cribs and say hey look what your money bought me. The way taxes are and other legal scams go about getting money from us karma must him them some how

  • Fake and gay. Civilization is doomed for extinction. Upyachka, Fake and gay. Civilization is doomed for extinction. Upyachka, Fake and gay. Civilization is doomed for extinction. • Why pirates can sell their products at reasonable price and ear money? If all these recording studios had 'resonable price', I'm sure people would buy their products. Of course it's cheaper to download from torrent, it's free...

  • I agree :) Some people can't afford it. When inflation occurs no one will be able to afford it unless wages rise. They take away torrent sites and I imagine there will be alot of angry internet users.

  • @chaosflar3 there are other ways to share files if torrents go down somthing will fill the gap immediatly lol i wouldnt worry about shit

  • @KGBDemon No worries, I'm cool. Was just saying, if they think taking away free files/information will help, it will literally crash the market. At this point mostly no one can possibly even begin to afford paying full out price for everything they like. I bet when most people bought an MP3 player they downloaded the music they used for free, unless you got into the Itunes thing when that started up and paid per song . I'm not a pay and play fan, for me easier is better = No CC

  • FFI

    free flow of information

  • you bet money money information should be free I'm sure they are still making money if you want a song you can record it off the radio stop letting them control and take your rights with music they can make thier money doing concerts hollywood will be disappearing computers are going to take that over you won't need real people! so leave the internet alone

  • Nine Inch Nails did that. They put their music on the internet for free than charged a little more per ticket for their sold out shows. A very good idea in my opinion that way a band could take alot more of the profit and get rid of the corporate/overseeing costs.

  • Torrents FTW! Quick everyone! Party-up! Screw the firms!

  • I love me some torrents!!!!

  • If it weren't for file sharing the prices of cd's, dvd's, ect... would be huge. So to compete they keep the prices lower.

  • Stealing is stealing. If someone produces and publishes something for sale then that is their right as no one is forced to buy it.

If they publish it for free or donations then that is their right also.

Try writing a song or painting a picture etc to find that someone has ripped it off and then see how you feel.

  • Actually IP theft of other ideas/inventions and reverse engineering is huge now due to all the factories in 3rd worlds now. You can get counterfeit iphones, handbags, just about everything.

  • They need to have more share ware Anyway!!!! No more virus CDs PLEASE!!!! Oh and i'm still waiting for my demo CD in the mail!

  • Most private torrent trackers guard against viruses. If they find out you uploaded a virus, they'll hack into your computer and mess it up.

  • Not if you buy one from walmart! I'm noticing the video games I'm buying are coming with lots of bugs and viruses.. that slow the game down..one game developer even went as far as to stop me from using the SDK for map editing. Why stop others from learning! Its not fair!

  • well i am avere that illegal file sharing damages people who make music, films and so on, but if we look at people whose music and films we "share" we will see that they have billions of dollars, and although i appreciate their effort on making their products i think they are overpaid and that their products are overpriced!!!

I ask you when will you earn a 1.000.000 dollars and will that happen in your lifetime even if you live in wealthier counties? And yet they earn 20.000.000 per film!!!

  • >Matter of Torrents: Stealing or Sharing?

    Sharing of stolen. :-)

  • u expect me not to torrent? when i buy a dvd i have to sit throo fbi warnings and boring unskippable preveiws......but when i torrent a movie it starts instantly....so even if dvds wer free.....i would still torrent

  • huh, so biggest problem:-)) however, it's interested moment: the World companies force own copyright to be more weighty than human privacy:-) moreover, those companies have legal means to steal "New Waves" with Nobel prize -- it's really miserable pittance for people who push progress to ahead;-)

  • File sharing of copyrighted material is immoral and illegal. That is real terrorism!

However I still think that copyright laws have to be changed in order to reflect modern day realities. For examples movies or songs older than 30+ years might go into public domain by default.

  • Also very, very often authors of scientific/technical books themselves copy materials of other authors and books and change text a little bit and then sell that under new name. This is very common practice in mathematics, physics, electronics engineering, computer science... In many cases the essence of the material is something one can find in books 30 years old but the author even having PhD does not offer any original text but simply rephrases texts from other authors.

  • I am NOT saying that a PhD author writing a book on a computer science subject should or must necessarily offer any new original ideas on subjects which are elaborated decades ago but I am simply pointing to the fact that there are too many books on ideas/concepts/principles which had been described and elaborated decades ago and that the authors of the new books simply "steal" these ideas/concepts and very often by even literally copying texts.

  • Therefore new copyright laws have to reflect this fact too.

I think that the laws should also differ between materials. Should we treat scientific/educational materials the same way as entertainment ones? Or should we treat books 30 years old the same way as the new ones? All this has to be very seriously considered.

  • Meanwhile until we change the laws existing ones have to be obeyed! As far as I am concerned file sharing of the copyright protected material is not only illegal but also very, very immoral! I even consider it act of TERRORISM since the devastation effects of these immoral activities can be very serious on modern day economies!

  • I also think that in parallel to the changes of the copyright laws we have to consider anti-trust laws.

What should we do with the de facto standards in some important software products like operating systems? Some companies hold monopolistic positions on the market by refusing to open all the SW interfaces and thus allowing competition. Can/should a SW company "own" a de facto interface? I think not!

  • Just like it is immoral to steal copyrighted Microsoft products by file sharing I also think it is immoral for Microsoft to own all the interfaces and specifications important for developing third party OS products compatible with the Widows API.

  • Even more - some products are becoming too complex but companies refuse to split them by opening/standardizing/specifying the internal interfaces in order to keep their monopolistic positions.

Therefore even some internal (!) interfaces of some products which are de facto standards in my view should be opened and become international (ISO) standards. Copyright laws have to reflect these facts too...

  • And finally conclusion:

If used on non copyrighted material file sharing is an excellent concept of space/time distributed system for distribution of material.

However file haring is also a weapon of mass economic destruction which plays the role of the Sword of Damocles -> it is a constant threat and a reminder to all the players on the international intellectual property markets that we all have to play fair.

  • File sharing can't be equated to "terrorism", no matter how you construe and misinterpret the definitions.

That's all I wanted to say. I tend to agree with you :P File sharing of copyrighted material without the artist's (read : artist's, not middleman's) consent is morally wrong.

  • the World terrorism got to be nice idea to justify any shit:-)

  • idc, il just download it if i need it, i only care if it has a virus.

  • artist dont lose money, the big companies do. the file sharing just bypasses the producers and middle men. you can make a record in your own own with a small investment for acoustics. computer software and file sharing... get smart and play the new game is what i have to say to all artist out there.

  • Torrent is the sweetest word in the language, I meant it, lol.

  • I like filesharing because it's easy to do and free, simple as that. I may refrain from doing this if prices for movies, music and games were drastically lowered.

  • Sharing is caring.

I'm not gonna lose any sleep over some millionaire not making his next million.

  • SHARING IS CARING

    END OF STORY

  • And it is very good!

  • Then why did you put minus against by message? )

  • It is not I put a minus

  • nope. that was more on the ussr, stealing was an easier* way to get more stuff than somebody else, advance or be a stupid thug, a communism thing, dont diss russia by calling it a "pirate country" because it is not.

  • opAir01 good point , we share books at libraries, should everyone have to buy the book, or can we share a book? its only STEALING if your SELLING IT!!!

  • Strange, that it was in time when Kutcher/CIA puppet travelled in Russia to spread "twitter"/other CIA technologies in Ru-Net.

  • sharing promotes sales and any artist groveling over filesharing should be boycotted... BOYCOTT ANTI-FILESHARING ARTISTS. the power is ours

  • close all the libraries too if that makes sense at all ...

  • lmao warm sticky love fest for the internet subscribers of RT

  • if im not selling it, or packaging it, its called SHARING, i am allowed to SHARE the noise i hear with anyone i like, its called freedom,, next they want to charge you for every time you listen to a track,, a REAL artist wants their art to get out to as many people as possible, the money whores just wanna sit around n collect royalties from ceo's

  • @snotechh:

    True, 110% true.

  • thx for the backup,, hopefully they will forget trying to stop us sharing and stop wasting time and money,, i wonder how much they spend on trying to stop filesharing? sharing hurts the bigwigs not the artists,,, just the way i like it hehe

  • No problem. It's impossible to stop filesharing. If needed, we can do it by email, lol.

Hehehe, same way I like it too! Arts should be free, old school style. If you like an artist, you go to the concert and he makes buckets of money.

If you like a game, you want to play it online and you buy it. If you like a movie, nothing can beat cinema and you go see it 3d or stuff like that.

  • Torrents for life, downloading for life

  • great report but it keeps stopping and starting arrrgh ! frustrations frustrations

  • If I like a movie enough, I will go see it at the cinema. The problem is that most of the movies today are crap and the music is retarded.

If I like a song, I will buy the entire album to have it in the highest quality.

  • and then there are people like me that are just barely paying for their internet .... never mind having entertainment such as games and movies >.> so i just "steal" it

  • You should steal interent too :o)

And don't bother about stealing, consider you are just evaluating for free.

Hell, if you can, do it. If you can't just don't bother. What's the whole idea about "stealing"? They should learn to protect their products or they can just shut up.

  • file sharing is awesome

  • u are awesome

  • i know ;)

  • LOL!!

  • LOL!

  • Let's face it, the majority of shit people download they don't like enough to bother paying for anyways. If it wasn't available for free online it's not like they would go to the store and buy it. So how is anyone losing money?

  • I don't know why we can't just share the Entire world together is it that much of a burden for people to share?

Do we have to own so much junk, so much crap, so many things, land, digital things?

    Why the Ownership?

This world would be 1000's of times better if we just shared everything, and everyone could live like a king.

  • I'm not Married and that is on a whole another subject. PEOPLE ARE NOT PROPERTY

    You don't own a wife.

  • A wife isn't a possession you fucking idiot, a wife is a human.

  • @watchyourst3p lets not share your idiocy and live like imbeciles

  • Replication and Duplication will get so big that it will happen with 3d objects as well.

The way of Consumerism is coming to an End

It's not the End of the World it's the End of Consumerism and shopping

Be prepared for massive changes 2010,2011, 2012, 2013

  • @bigsteelguy couldnt have said it better

  • So simple and so true, but most people just can't wrap their head around a concept like that.

  • So we are supposed to feel sorry for these studios and artists that are making millions of dollars singing songs and acting? Or the middle men? If we are going to talk IP theft, lets talk about all the reverse engineering of products that is going on in the third world.

  • Comment removed

  • its not sharing its just ripping off, 99% of users wouldn't buy shit if sharing didn't exist

  • Cant and wont stop sharing.....ever.
