@R7pl This way you can say Intel CPU's are Chinese products. And everybody will alway fight that it is "Czech". The name and the car is czech by heart. Is it multinational by parts? yes. Does it matter where the bussinesmen have their coffee (in Germany, austria, france , BG ... or else? dont think it metters these days ... But i agree, it is owned by VW group, but most people would say its Czech by heart and origin. I think its right to say it both ways.

@HowkeyLL Jaguar and Land Rover are Indian? Volvo is Chinese? Opel is American? Chrysler is Italian? Seat German?...Není to tak jednoduché. Škoda odjakživa sídlí, vyvíjí, většinou i vyrábí (často z českých dílů) v Česku. Byl o tom i zajímavý analytický článek na Auto.cz. Po zhodnocení všech faktů dospěli k tomu, že ji lze považovat především za českou automobilku. A já se s tím stotožňuji. Určovat "národnost" na základě vlastníka by dnes bylo trochu hloupé.

@tomasmalin jistě, ovšem je pravda že díky tomu že je pod VW group se dostala lépe do světa ... za což zase můžem děkovat. Ovšem pro mě je to taky český výrobek prostě :) sohlasím
