Yes, there is too much diving in soccer and probably close to none in the NFL. I would love to see you try and do an offensive lineman's job for one play. Do you know how to down block someone? How to base them? What is a drive it call? Can you read a blitz? I love soccer too but they are games you have to work all of your life to be good at but to just have fun with them just takes a few steps on the field.
