For Victor and Jack, not really. Tim Burton's characters generally look like their personalities, if that makes sense. Jack is very confident and fascinated with all things unfamiliar, and Victor is the complete opposite. As for Emily and Victoria, they're both voiced by the same woman: the lovely Helena Bonham Carter.

I love Corpse Bride more cause we can all understand this type of loneliness and the lengths we will go to end it. This song sums up her feelings as she feels inadequate and not able to compete with a living girl. These are the same feelings an a living person would have against an opponent in love whom they preceive as being better. Be it in better health, younger, etc.
