This was one of my fave sequences of this hilarious show. There are so many little moments that make this clip worthwhile - my two faves would probably be the shot of the pizza box open and the slices in hand and mouth (and this after he tossed the box out the door) when the door is opened, and the way he sniffs the donut. This is not to mention the snack items hidden conveniently amongst the books, classic.

Nostalgic! I think every person can relate to this who's gone through the whole dieting trends. You struggle and ask your friends to help you lose weight. Then you become this ravaging, famished monster that sneaks in parcels of devious and forbidden delights! This is similar to the clip I saw a few weeks ago of Carl going on a diet and he threatens Steve with his carrot stick when Steve won't give him a slice of pizza. Eventually, he locks Steve out and takes the pizza for himself.

Agreed. There isn't anything on TV these days like Perfect Strangers. You know, a show that exists solely to make you feel good, without resorting to cruelty or putdowns.

This is like with Carl on his diet and Steve Urkel hoarding the pizza away from him while Carl snacked on a carrot stick...Then he threatened Steve's life with the sharp end of the veggetable...:) They have that clip if you look it up on the Youtube site...
