But then I think about the time I had an argument with someone that argued that nudity is far more damaging to society than violence in media. WTF??? @Dracon600 Well for one if Humans weren't so violent they would never have survived their evolution period, and would have been killed or eaten. Intellect played a role as well no doubt ingenuity of violence, weapon making and the like. Most modern technologies were first made for the purpose of killing or displaying military might over another. So without it humans wouldn't survive this long, and if they did than they would still be in the bronze age.

@MrCosmicMango Firstly, I'd say if you're looking for role models in Combichrist you're looking in the wrong place. Have you actually listened to a lot of these songs? Plenty of Combi songs have extremely violent and/or misogynistic lyrics. Secondly, the video is a homage to old fashioned grindhouse cinema, which were movies banned for featuring high levels of violence and drug use.

In my 37 years, I have never been as attached to a specific music as I am now with Combichrist. In fact I have literaly never heard a song that Andy has done that I haven't absolutely loved. This song is terrific. Not to mention it is probably one of my favorite videos I have seen yet on YouTube. I don't know how you got away with the nudity content, but the fact you did gives me a little shred of hope for this country. I hope to see and hear more like this in the future.

Andy has had now 3 band projects. CC, IoC, and Panzer on top of being a DJ. Each project has been his way of experimenting with a different genre and aspect of music, that helped him evolve his own music. All musicians do it. The next CD is always different. And I personally think this song is the epitome of Andy's work through all of his projects. The basic harsh beats from Panzer, the synthetic sounds and orchestra from IoC, and the graphic lyrics and nature of CC.

They took a fun direction with the video, but I'm even more impressed with the new single. It's nice to see some new direction with the music, and having Andy do some more actual singing sounds great. Getting more towards the Icon of Coil vocal style, with classic Combichrist instrumentation.
