I guess there is none unless you take a survey to see what percentage of a certain religion's followers speak a certain language. I forgot that it is the PRESENT number, not a number that is over 2,000 years old. And languages do change over time so you are right about 1,400 year old Arabic not being understood anymore.

The Arabs made it all the way up to Southern France, all the way down to the bottom of the Sahara Desert in Africa, East to Western China, and North to Central Asia, so of course there were A LOT of changes to the Arabic language within just 500 years after the Conquests.
