  • Why were JR and Barnes together like buddies>

  • That bitch she grabbed Bob's arm & let him get hit.He knows it's over with her now.Old man McKay can be a mean son of a bitch. But April gets her man after all this.Bobby.Who she's loved since the first time she saw him.

  • Bobby was a football player in college and therefore in better shape. That scum had it coming.

  • Ah yes the good old days when a man could enter another man's father's house and beat the hell out of him without the police becoming involved. If that had happened today Bobby would have been arrested and convicted of aggravated assault. Luckily the door was unlocked so there would have been no breaking and entering charge.

  • I love the fact that April's nearly dead, Tommy's nearly dead, and J.R. smiles because he has Westar in his sights.

  • I know it's Hollywood and all. But is it me? Or does whenever Bobby gets hit in one of them great Dallas fight scenes. Bobby gets angrier and stronger as the fight goes along.

  • Ahhh!! This is why I LOVE this show!!!

  • These were both great scenes. Too bad the fight was over April, who sucked. I liked her as the bad girl during her first season, but then the writers tried to turn her into a virginal school girl. She had no chemistry with Bobby the way Pam did.

  • Bobby is such a nice guy.....But don't piss him off !!!!!

  • I used to love to see Bobby fight he always kicked ass

  • @HarveyRex23 it is a very weird event... In seasons past, a brief J.R./Cliff/Bobby alliance would have been BIG NEWS, but by season 13, it's just...the best they can do :)

  • Bobby just gave that psycho Tommy McKay a good old can of Texas Whoop ASS.

  • I used to look up to Tommy Mckay when I was little, I thought he was so cool in his leather jacket.

  • What would have been great is if Carter McKay would have brought back up... who do you ask??...Drebin...Lt. Frank Drebin...POLICE SQUAD!!! (queue "Police Squad" theme)

  • Who ever thought we'd see JR, Bobby and Cliff on the same side - if only for a moment!

  • @henrypage23 I agree. Seeing J.R. and Cliff on the same side was something I never expected. Even if it's only for one monent.

  • Texans... The lowest form of human beings there is...

  • I love this scene!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bobby vs Tommy. Lol

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Nanoc Dropped By 2 Solve The Entire Thing.

  • 1:11 :D Look at his eyes :D

  • Bobby put that no class jerk in his place.

  • Bobby makes me sick throwing his weight around all the time

  • @agrotis79 Piss off!! Bobby was the good guy and Tommy was a stinking piece of drug trash. As far as I'm concerned, Bobby should've also kicked the shit of Tommy's stupid self-righteous father too!

  • Season 12, "April Showers"

  • Does anybody know which season this was from?

  • JR deserves some credit here. He tried to warn everyone about McKay.

  • I liked the McKay family especially I liked Tommy McKay who was a male version of Katherine Wentworth. Later Dallas days I liked also those Haleyville episodes. I hope they will be some day here to be seen here in YouTube

  • I thought the McKay range war was a decent storyline but unfortunately, it was another wasted opportunity to inject some strong youth into the show. I think Carter should have been a younger man (perhaps Wendell's son). And instead of being Tracy's father, he should have been her ex-husband. As it was, the McKay plot was just an unsuccessful Pam/Digger/Cliff rehash.

Also, Tracy and Tommy were badly miscast. The actors had no real screen presence.

  • Are you serious, Carter as Wendell´s son ?? It was a great relief when Wendell was arrested and disappered from the show. William Smithers was a great actor like in the movie Papillon. But his role a Jeremy Wendell ( though well played ) was maybe the most disgusting in the Dallas saga. I think it was right Wendell left Dallas for good and there were no "his son". Carter McKay was a charismatic character and played by a very experienced actor.

  • I agree that George Kennedy did a good job but the show did not need another senior citizen.

  • @jksonny I think Bobby had a personal disgust to Tommy. Bobby didn´t like Tommy from the very beginning. Anyway I don´t like the violence of Bobby. That is disgusting !

  • @FinnMove Tommy had it coming. Anyone that beats up a woman deserves a good beating themselves.

  • @jksonny

    Bobby is the man!!

  • @WCD73 Agreed!

  • @FinnMove

Um, Dallas was not a moral show and needed "disgusting" immoral characters like Wendell. He was vastly superior to Carter McKay, and had a long history with the show. I was sad they replaced him with George Kennedy.

  • @FinnMove

Ugh, the Haleyville episodes sucked! Worst part of Dallas ever, followed closely by JR in the loony bin.

  • I love the freeze frame line-up at the end of the clip, it seemed to be the only time Cliff, JR and Bobby were all on the same side and for some bizarre reason I remembered that freeze frame from the original air date 90/91.

Probably the only good bit from the last few seasons.

I warmed to April but couldn't stand Cally - no substitute for Sue Ellen.

  • Love em Dallas fight scenes. Especially the ones when Bobby knocks JR on his ass.

  • Imagine Danny Mccoy or even Ed Deline beating up Tommy,Danny would really mess him up,he's an Ex Marine!!

  • That was a pretty good fight. Tommy got 3 good punches to the face in. Bobby had trouble with him before he finally put him away.

  • Interesting line from Bobby at the beginning about Tommy locking the door. Does anyone in Dallas lock their door?

For that matter they always seem to leave their car doors open or the keys in the ignition.

  • so true. bobby is a great fighter plus he takes a lot of punishment. i loved watching bobby fight. him against carter mckay would have been great.

  • Bobby should watch out--McKay spent years on a chain gang and knows the score!

  • Bobby also was college football player for Texas U and the story was he turned down the NFL for Ewing Oil

  • I think you missed the inside joke

  • I thought Bobby played for SMU.

  • Try to imagine what Chuck Norris would've done to Tommy!

  • roundhouse kicked his head so hard it'd land in China

  • There would be no more Tommy!!

  • Bobby gave Tommy a good lesson he deserved! Sadly, sometimes young people need to be treated that way... until they learn

  • this is the best

  • This is pretty much the only scenes I liked outta the last 4 seasons of Dallas. The Dream of course began the show's slow death, but if they had more storylines like these, maybe it would have pushed on a little longer?

  • I liked this story line and this season...I missed April after Erica Cane Killed Her..That BITCH!! lol

  • have you seen AMC? lol

Susan Lucci was a very good actress but I hated Hilary Taylor because killed April

  • what season/episode is this?

  • The McKays vs. the Ewings was a pretty good storyline. For one thing, it got Cliff out of Ewing Oil.

  • hey i know that it got pretty good between mckays and ewings.

  • @dcntry But because of Mac, Cliff ends up owning it in the end...until the reunions.

  • One of the few times where Cliff defended the Ewings,he did'nt like Tommy McKay either.Tommy got exactly what he deserved..a good asskicking from Bobby!!!

  • I agree with that oddly enough

  • Well, Cliff didn't really know Tommy. But he was very good friends with April. And J.R. and April were 'close' friends too before she became involved with Bobby. So all 3 cared about April.

  • Tommy was a wiseass punk who told Cliff that he had a phone call when he really did'nt,the punk was just jealous that April was dancing with Cliff and decided that the best way to get April alone was to lie to Cliff and dance with April, she rejected him the first time he tried to make his move, she did go out with him, only to have the wiseass punk beat her up.she should've just told him off the first time!!!

  • What Bobby needs is a Tommy McKay punching bag!!!

  • This time I had no sympathy for Bobby.

He was usually a nice guy and made his senses

with that trouble boy. He really killed

    that boy.

But Bobby is a human being, he was sorry

    about that later.

  • He did the right thing. So what if it was Mckay's son. That kid was a fuckin druggie, he needed an ass kicking.

  • Pam's leaving had Bobby an emotional breakdown but I understand it because I had a same situation years ago..

  • yeah but u sere if Pam was around he would of never got that mad.. after Pam left he changed for the worse.

  • Never piss off Bobby Ewing!!!

  • Call Bobby Ewing naive if you want to, but one thing you CANNOT call him is a wimp.

  • Amen to that southerncajuncharm!

  • I love "Dallas" but this was during its weakest era....however, I must say that I loved this episode because all of the fights that broke out. I HATED the McKay family, especially Tracey and, of course, Tommy.

  • Why it got fun with Mckay, what Wendell was better?

  • EEEEEEEEEEEE these are my all-time fave Dallas scenes. I love the end when all three are staring after McKay, knowing a war is coming. The smirk on JR's face is classic. Thanks for posting!

  • Can't blame McKay for being upset at Bobby for decapitating his boy.

  • Wow it suprise that J.R. and Cliff were on the same side of anything!!!!

  • I didn't watch this season, but wasn't this the time when Bobby grugenly allowed JR back on as a partner, and Cliff was already Bobby's partner during this season?

  • That prick had what was comin to him!!!

  • Haha.. I just love that sound effect when they punch each other!! :))

  • There's that Bobby Ewing whoopin ass once again! This is one of my fav. scenes of all the great episodes of one of the greatest shows ever created!

  • tommy may be in pretty good physical shape, but remember, bobby's had more practice kickin ass in all those bar brawls. LOL! :D remember all those scenes with bobby and ray beatin everyone's butts in the bars? :)

  • Bobby Ewing was one of the greatest characters that graced the soap opera screen. David Jacobs had a jewel with this character

  • they were all very impressive in their own right, that is for sure.

i was channel surfing a few nights ago and i swear i saw patrick duffy as a game show host on the game show network. it was just a quick channel surf and when i went back to it, the announcement for the show was gone.

i could see him as a game show host - he's always been so enthusiastic - he'd be perfect for it.

  • I can understand Carter being upset in that Tommy is his son, but to treat Bobby as the villain is really twisting the issue. It's really amazing how some people can have such a distorted sense of right and wrong.

  • No doubt!

  • When its happening to you, you're right an they're wrong. That is human nature. Only the truly smart people can see outside that box.

  • You have a valid point, it being human nature.

But I don't think it's necessary to imply that people are stupid.

  • It does kind of sound like that's what I would have implied. I guess I wanted to say "open minded" people instead of "smart," but even that sounded bad. Because some people hear "open minded" as evil and liberal, and I'm neither. I'm here for everybody.

  • Tommy Mckay was scum!!!

  • This has got to be the only time that JR, Bobby, and Cliff were on the same side on ANYTHING!

  • Yeah, they all hated Tommy Mckay, how could anybody like that drug using woman beating punk!!!

  • Tommy McKay doesn't look exactly like he's out of shape, but he sure got his a** handed to him. Must be the drugs.

  • Bobby Ewing can kick some serious ass!!! served that punk Tommy McKay right for what he did to poor April, she did'nt deserve to get beaten up,Bobby did the right thing,Screw Carter Mckay,he is just a arrogant and stubborn old blowhard!!!

  • What happened to the JR of season 3 that slapped one of his buddies who threatened to "take care of Bobby". How come we didn't see that JR take a shot at McKay.

  • Do you see how big McKay is?! Plus he is somewhat intimidating.

  • Yeah, Jeb Ames is hardly a Carter McKay.

  • "He's already paid a small price."
