The trick has a better effect if you flick the cards with the other hand. That way you "explain" the flicking noise when u change the card ;)

What brands of cards work best for these types of manipulation? I have a Neilon and a Murphy manipulation deck but they seem like they are better for fanning and multiple card production. I like bee playing cards but if anyone can recommend something else I appreciate it.

Don't use those ones that you get on airplane rides.

trick took me a while to do just make sure that when you do the switch the card is as close to the tip of your finger as possible, if its covering most of your fingers it wont be done

It's not truly hard, there's jsut a real knack to it, try holding the cards with a lighter grip.

With snap change, the angles work against you...

its more of a trick that you do to one person or from a slight distance. With one person you can position the cards sp they won't see the 1st card when you pull it behind the second.

and when your farther away from a group it reduces the angles in which they can see the card making it more likely they won't see the card being pulled back.

@krazyboy2cool I've practiced this allot, I find the best way is to have the deck of cards in your left hand, then as you perform the snap change, bring the deck from your left into your right hand and collect the other card - the audience cant see you collect it 'cause it's behind the changed card
