I am not going to go so far as to call them, bad musicians. That drummer is stellar. Their musicianship is great, their writing is lacking in a major way but whatever.

Blackmetal was started with the intent to rebel, like punk, but when all of a sudden people play blackmetal in a different way (read rebel against the old forms) the weaklings that call themselves "true blackmetalheads" think it's gay... nothing but a bunch of conformists that think they invented the hot water and have the right to determine what's good and what's not! Better go download some more Burzum records and let people enjoy whatever they want, dicks
I don't know why it matters where the band came from or how they dress or what kind of audience they attract. It's pathetic that when someone makes something that is interesting and progressive that they get this kind of response.
The guy who fronts this band wakes up every morning with the taste of dicks in his mouth from the night before. His symposium was nothing more than self-serving lies and twisting the truth to be able to fit it in his tiny brain. Their music is so incredibly awful I wonder if the people who buy this shit actually listened to real black metal before. I highly doubt they understand what black metal is supposed to be about because this is certainly not it! LiTURDgy are just some pretentious wankers.

I had no idea that he played single bass, that shit is pretty insane. Hope these guys continue to put out quality stuff. Renihilation was one of the best metal releases this year.
