@thatsitivehadenough safety glasses is mandatory for ALL chemestry experiments eaven if the outcome of the experiment is known. This to make sure that any screwups wont result in loss of eyesight. (Say someone replaced a bottle of something with acid)
@Oraserogue So true. I know sometimes it seems ridiculous, but if you get used to wearing them, they're not bad. If you're in the lab, just wear the equipment.

increase pressure: water forces gas in dropper to decrease in volume (also forcing dye up)
Decrease pressure: gas in dropper forces water out of dropper (increasing gas volume, and focing some dye out)
