I always thought a centrifugal juicer would yeild less juice. I have a breville whole fruit juicer and it's the worst juicer ever. My pulp is soaking, literally dripping!!! I think this is becase the screen becomes clogged with orange rind. Currently torn between the Omega 8006 and Vert 330...
I just purchased the vert330!!! So excited! I've seen you say that the pulp is difficult to digest etc and that you feed it to your dogs etc.... does that mean you dont recommend consuming it?
I prefer not the eat the pulp that comes out of the juicer. I would rather drink the juice. Many people DO eat the pulp, and that's entirely up to you... Its really rich in fiber, although most of nutrients have been taken out in the juice.
John, Is the screen from the Omega VRT 330 interchangeable with the screen from the HD model, or would the juice bowl need replacing as well if I wanted to upgrade to the HD version?
Yes, the VRT330 and VRT33HD are interchangable on CURRENT PRODUCTION models. In older VRT330 models, you will need to purchase a new bowl so the new HD screen will fit.
I had the preliminary model, that's obsolete now. When the screen broke, Omega replaced my entire set of components to the current model free of charge. It's now the hd version. Great warranty.
I haven't used a mesh until this video, thanks John, my juice is so much better and I like it much better during my juicefeast.

Can you compare Omega O2 pulp extractor vs. the Omega Vert Masticating?
