another example is early german techno, sounds like early trance,example listen to Cosmic Baby -Loops Of Infinity, and look up his influences, which are many. speaking of influences just like House is the evolution of Disco, and Trance being the evolution of House, mainly in the US, and Techno from abroad. when i first john digweeds mixes, i thought all the tracks he spun were all Trance, turns out, he was playing Prog House too, and never could tell the difference between the two.

Tilt rules. but you guys gotta stop arguing about the music genres seriously lol. i grew up on house & techno in the early 90's, and maybe this will help some of u get whats going on here. i think the artists influence, really comes out in their music, for instance a trance producer might be influence by house, and makes a trance track, guess what their influence will be heard in the track. see next comment.

Tilt were excellent. Big fat dance floor-rippers were the order of the day and they delivered in spades, oh yes.

@opium25 Technically Tilt's and Quivver's roots are essentially House. In the mid nineties is when they started experimenting with more Trance sounds, all while keeping their Tribal House percussion. So to call them either House or Trance, both are fairly correct. House just gets a bad rap because of artist like Guetta and and Afrojack, when it actually can be just as deep and melodic as the best of Trance tracks. But arguing about genres is meaningless, when you have amazing tunes such as this

The original Tilt trio(parks,wilson,graham) is amazing. This is probably 1 of the darkest progressive trance tracks ever. It's so well layered. Last trance track that Tilt released before they went to the dark world of progressive house. This track was never officially released on Hooj Choons.Finally, years later it was released on Lost Language. It's ironic that this trio helped in pushing trance but when the mass media got their hands on it, alot of it went to cheese heaven.

The original trio was Micheal Park, Micheal Wilson, and John Graham between 1995-2001. It was during this era that Tilt produced their most innovative and creative tracks & remixes. Micheal Park is 1/3 of Killahertz and Mr.Graham goes under several aliases as Quivver, Skanna, & Space Manuevers. Mr.Park & Mr.Wilson are also the dark DJ duo known as Parks & Wilson. Micheal Wilson is no longer part of Tilt either. Andy Moor & Jan Benedek are now part of Tilt.
