  • if only you could mount this to a toy gun and make a video. I'm sure it would be a great success.

  • Excellent work guys.....

  • @cyclistarav Thnks for the compliment and thank you for replying to mayankgupta2301's question as well . Kinda got busy with all the office work . I wish would start working on sun spot;s again .

  • @attarde They are pretty amazing devices... With little thinking you can make amazing things!

  • how did you made the two spots communicate to the basestation simultaneously.....

  • @mayankgupta2301 you can do that with threads and different ports of communication!

  • COOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!! 5/5

  • very nice!

  • Thnks

  • ur neck would kill

  • The sensitivity of the SunSpots can be adjusted .. So even with minimal motion the Bot can move .

  • gr8...WICKED actually.

  • hehe .. thnks again!

  • wat about d 360 degree turn...

  • that possible with the motion of the gun. just move ur gun to either the left or the right till the bot turns 360

  • Cools stuff!! can you please tag this with "spaughts" so it show up in the Sun SPOT feed? Thanks

  • thats awesome!

  • Thnks mate!!

  • I have a question. How do you map the x and y values from the accelerometer to screen x y coordinate? I tried using tiltx and tilty to update the cursor and the accuracy is pretty bad. Also, probably due to lack of calibration my part.

  • we have used the Pointer and the MouseInfo class in JAVA which got us the current pointer position on the screen then using that we either incremented/decremented the x /y coordinate values .

  • Hi,

I used pointer and mouseinfo class as well.

but I'm not really satisfied with the sensitivity and accuracy of the accelerometer. Theres a problem of my mouse "drifting" away as well. Did you guys use values from tiltX,y() or accelX,Y()? Thanks, btw nice work~!

  • we used tiltx,y()

  • awsome.. i want to be able to play quake 4 with my set of sun spots.

  • Good work dudes!

  • Thanks for the comment dude .
