  • Whenever I watch this clip, some of the lines from the original sketch play in my head.

  • RIP Richard Hunt

  • This Is A Remake Of A 1980 Sketch

  • This Is From 1986-1987

  • 1:10 Come on, Brain! LOL!

  • @tpirman1982 Poor Forgetful Jones

  • Heh heh, Clem sounds a little like Elmo here. And Forgetful's voice is exactly how I know it should be, though Michael Earl Davis' Forgetful Jones wasn't bad. Neither was Brian Muehl's Clementine, though it is very interesting to compare the original to the remake.

  • @TelephoneRock4ever

Today, I just discovered that I can do Kevin Clash's impression of Clementine. Isn't that cool or what?

  • Case in point. Forgetful doesn't have teeth anyways... why should he brush?

  • I have this on video somewhere! (I think, I used to when Sesame Street was on in the UK in the early 90s) It was part of an episode where at the end, Big Bird announced the sponsers while playing 'Simon Says'.

I'm trying to find that episode, since I only have a lot of the end part on it.

  • Here are some other Forgetful Jones skits I'd like to see on youtube:

    Forgetful says the alphabet

    Forgetful reads to Buster

    Forgetful gives Buster a bath

  • Same here. I'd also like to see one where Forgetful and Clementine recite the closing credits and Forgetful forgets the Children's Television Workshop line...that is if they have one.

  • @snootzie78 Me 2

  • I want to see the alphabet one too.

  • @muppetfan33 Me 2

  • Does anyone have the clip with Forgetful imagining Maria, Gordon, and Luis singing a song telling him to "Write it Down".

  • @Garrettk41 I Don't

  • That Forgetful jones was a nutcase. LOL!

  • I notice quite a few differences from this one and the other one. I thought it would be exactly the same other than the fact that they redubbed the voices, but I've noticed that some additional dialogue was added. Plus, Forgetful is on the left side of Clemetine here. It's interesting to watch the two versions back to back and make some comparisons.

  • Is it me or do many of the punchlines to Forgetful Jone's sketches have to do with him doing something with Buster.

  • Actually you're spot on. Lots of Forgetful Jones sketches have to do a lot with Buster.
