  • Hey i play trombone and love your arrangements. I was wondering if you could do the Lost Woods theme from The Legend of Zelda. I have subscribed and appreciate your work.

  • Back in '89 I would whoop these guys at the Baritone!

  • You sir are pro.

  • Sick!

  • Did you start out on a 4 valved euph? I didn't and now I have one but I just can't get used to using the 4th one for stuff like Cb and other notes

  • That's awesome ..... I thought it was two different people but it was just one

  • Nice job! I'm a fellow baritone horn player, and I've been wanting to learn this for a while. d:

    Also, your mullet is beast.

  • This is amazing! In Band class (I'm a Baritone Horn), we have to pick another instrument of the same key to play a duet with. I am doing this song with a trumpet playing the top part and me playing the bottom. It sounds pretty awesome!

  • Nice, and thanks for the music

  • I like it, but it's the same guy, just edited the video.

  • AUUUUGH! SHARP AND FLAT GUY ON THE RIGHT!

  • This keeps me inspired to stay in band playing my three valved Baritone

  • Hello mate i wanted to know if you could send me the notes for this song im the section leader for bass in my class and would want to play this for our concert

  • @masterflamewing234 Sheet music is available in the link in the "More Information" section under the video.

  • @masterflamewing234 Sheet music is available in the link in the "More Information" section under the video.

  • @masterflamewing234 You can get the sheet music from the link in the "More Info" section under the video.

  • This was awesome.

  • This just made me :)

  • What are your thoughts on a Bach 18T mouthpiece? I recently got that one and my tone is definitely MUCH better with it.

  • @codenameREIMIZU I don't know if I've ever played one before.

  • Mr. Opaskar, You. Are. Awesome. That's it. Nothing more. Except the following sentence. I now love the quality of your new camera, it make the videos infinty better.

  • @MegaSuperAwesome1214 Thanks for noticing about the audio! It's actually the same camera, just a new microphone.

  • the guy on the left needs to, according to my band director , 'hug' his baritone a little more

  • @purplepanamadolphins He tries, but the guy on the right won't let him.

  • @DarkYugi32 That sounds great! I would love to see a video of your marching band playing this on YouTube.

  • are they the same guy

  • its all in the mullet

  • @PeterTubaEuph have you ever used a Helleberg tuba mouth piece

  • @27stevep Yeah, but I prefer the Mirafone Rose Orchestra TU-25 for BBb tuba.

  • @PeterTubaEuph Do you prefer it over YAMAHA?

  • @27stevep I don't know if I've ever played a Yamaha mouthpiece made expressly for BBb.

  • @PeterTubaEuph They are usely use over in Japan and there are some place that sell them in ohio but other than that I havent seen them much of anywhere else sorry had to do some research about it I asked you a qustion you would really be able to answer sorry :O

  • must....learn<3

  • I got so excited when I watched this!

I'm glad I chose to play euphonium this year in band! Thank you SO MUCH for posting the sheet music on your website! :D

  • at the end when they walk into each other im sittign here like wait wtf i had to go back and watch it again haha

  • this is awesome! Whered u get music for this? I wanna play it on my baritone! :D

  • try cliffs of dover it would be fairly intresting :)

  • wow you guys look like twins! lol =D

  • @MrCanadiankid25 until the end ha ha

  • I love how at the end both you's meet each other in the middle and disappear, really cool.

  • i have a four valve baritone also(:

  • @PeterTubaEuph Where was this filmed? It looks exactly like my school's band hall.

  • you guys rock! i play this instru-but nobody thinks you can do a duet with such a deep instrument-you just proved you could! great job-its awesomeness

  • This sounds so good!!!!! I hope my trombone duet sounds as great as you did!!!!! And thanks for the free music I've been looking for a good piece of music for the Legend of Zelda Overworld theme but thanks again I'll be enjoying this in my duet!!!

  • Dude this is so awesome!!!!! I'm gonna be playing this as a trombone duet which is kinda like your euphonium duet you did but I hope it sounds just as great as you did!!!!!!

  • Ha, nice. That's pretty awesome. But I am actually posting this comment to explain the differences between a Euphonium and a Baritone, which a lot of people don't seem to know. Sorry if I seem like a douche, I probably am. But a Euphonium has a bell opening upwards, pretty much vertically. These are Euphoniums playing. A Baritone looks a lot like this, except its bell opens to a forward slant, sort of like an inverted French Horn.

  • @Awshbuscus doesn't the diffrence between 3 and 4 valves also affect the title?

  • @SurrealisticMusic Not sure, but probably.

  • Nice mullet!

  • Thanks for the free sheet music on your website!!! And by the way this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're awesome!!!

  • go baritones.

  • 0:55 They play the Baritone of Time ^^

  • Hi. Is there a possible way to find sheet music for this for a solo tuba part?

  • @ohanamaggie I'll upload it to my site eventually.

  • @PeterTubaEuph hey do you know any good songs for a baritone beginner? ( I play the baritone at my school. I started this year )

  • @ohanamaggie Yeah, go to this guy's website and it has a duet(part 1 is melody and part 2 is the bass)

  • wow you guys have matching mullets!

  • Are the keys for a low Eb 123?

  • @c0mmment open, i believe

  • @c0mmment I play Eb 124 on a euphonium with 4 valves on top (NO compensating valve) and 14 on a euphonium with 3 valves on top and 1 on the side (compensating).

  • @PeterTubaEuph or couldnt it just be open or is it different for your style euphonium?

  • @ihavevideos45 I've only ever heard of Bb and C euphonia. On a compensating C euphonia, I guess low Eb would be 124, and non-compensating it would be 234. But if there are Eb bass tubas, maybe there are eb euphonia out there? Search me.

  • 7th grade*

  • I'm In my schools 7th beginning band and I currently play 2nd chair Euphonium. I'm in honors band and currently learning "Clouds" and "Tempest" while having some difficulties but I'm proud to say I'm a Baritone player.

  • i play euphonium and im 14 years old, i was doing really well and gad a range of above c above the stave but then i got braces:-( i am working hard and steadily improving so all is good euphoniums are a beautiful and amazing instrument and when played well are really nice as they have a great tone :-) learn the euphonium :-)

  • As a former tuba player, now bass guitarist, and lover of video games, this is awesome!! Thank you.

  • Man this is great! I love this song.

  • i play euphonium... i can barely do a Bb scale and i can only reach up to middle c....sort of..... any tips?

  • @ultimategamer267

practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, lip slurs, scales, practice, practice, practice. easiest way. GO FORTH AND PLAY!!!

  • dude if you had a concert i would so see you LEGEND!

  • needs tuba

  • i only have the euphonium 3 valves. can you do one for this one plz?

  • @pokemofan101 4th falve is just 1&3 alternate. i play a four valve sooo

  • @Awesomol0gy The low Eb I play in this piece is played 1+4, so it goes precisely one half-step below a 3 valve euphonium's range. I might get around to make an arrangement 1/2 step higher.

  • its really great i found the notes

  • What do you use to mix your videos? ive been trying to do this forever

  • @zlim751 Adobe Premiere Pro 2.

  • Comment removed

  • euphoniums kick ass just sayin :D

  • Mr. Peter,

thank you so much for making your website. i get alot of your music for treble clef euphonium from it. and you play both tuba and euphonium beautifully. keep doing what you do!

    -Cody

  • are you twins or do you just take two videos and put them next to each other

  • @usspizza Not twins. It's the magic of cinema.

  • @PeterTubaEuph I play baritone... that sounded very good.

  • @usspizza it is just really well done split screen

  • good job!

  • epic win.

  • Dude i play the baritone. and this is very good

  • What type of euphonium would you recommend for high school? A compensating or non-compensating 4 valve?

  • @NotSoNewJesus Unless you're thinking of majoring in music in college, I see no reason anyone should play anything fancier a Yamaha 321 non-compensating 4-valve with a Bach 5G, 4, or 3 small-shank mouthpiece. Many band directors feel differently than me though!

  • @PeterTubaEuph I guess I'm getting a compensating then.

  • @PeterTubaEuph My instructor says besson 4 valves are key to college. :/ I might choose that.

  • @NotSoNewJesus I just purchased a Baritone and it is really off tune, I have played the baritone for about 4 years, could it be the mouthpiece?

  • @jdcrapp1 Use a Bach 6-1/2 AL, If there are any dents get them fixed, make sure slides are out 1/2 inch

  • @NotSoNewJesus 3 valve

  • @DBAMB1 No, I'm buying a 4-valve compensating soon.

  • You two look exactly alike! You even have the same model horn.

  • @LeMaitreDeSorts it's the same guy, watch how he leaves at the end

  • @leovxn I know. it was a joke. xD

  • so lame but coo, i like it

  • @mindkilla123 no they are not,Baritones are for marching,Euphoniums are for concert band and have a deeper tone that baritones. However some bands to march them, although you find it more in like Drum Corps

  • which has four valves? the euphonium or the baritone

  • @shellshock663 they're the same thing

  • @shellshock663 Baritones usually have curved bells, and three valves that face upward. A euphonium has 4 (Sometimes 5) vales, its bell faces upwards, the valves face upwards. But on a compensating 4 valve euphonium, the fourth valve portrudes from the right side and has extra piping.

  • @NotSoNewJesus actually, the valves stick to the side.

  • you should be getting laid constantely...

  • heyyy can i have the music for thiss plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @15montezuma Music is at TubaPeter d[0]t c[0]m.

  • EUPHONIUM...not Baritone

  • i play tuba and baritone he is awesome

  • my section leader and i are doing finding this song and were gonna play it just for fun. GO BARITONES!!!

  • The whole time I thought it was two people and then at the end I was like WTF man?

  • What do you do with your lips and tongue to get such excellent tone?

  • @Aquailan Lips loose, like I'm watching bad TV by myself. Tongue like I'm spitting in the face of my enemies.

  • @PeterTubaEuph Thank you for the answer. It helped a lot.

  • i like how you sway while playing

  • lol i can play the euph. to but not that well

  • hey i got the euphonium for band, can anyone tell me about it? like is it heavy?

  • @chibixcandy Heavier than a trumpet, lighter than a tuba.

  • @PeterTubaEuph

    Fact

  • @PeterTubaEuph hey man i play euphonium myself im in eighth grade and i havent learned treble clef yet is treble clef something you learn later on your you stick with bass clef in all your school years.oh and is this music in treble clef?im guessing it is...

  • @kyuubisharinan3296 Baritone TC and Baritone BC music is identical. Baritone players in the US tend to read bass clef, while baritone players in the UK tend to read treble. You don't need to learn TC if you already know BC.

  • @PeterTubaEuph haha or baritone players in the U.S. who started on trumpet read treble. Thats me!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @chibixcandy I played a baritone all through middle and high school. It is lighter than a tuba and note wise if you play bass clef is closely plays along side a trombone.

  • @chibixcandy Depends if it's concert or marching concert euphoniums tend to be lighter

  • @chibixcandy baritone 4tw

  • @chibixcandy Supposidly a middle ranged low brass instrument. But usually used in most peices to double the trombone.

  • Are you a band director, because I see several sousaphones?

  • is that one person yeah duuuuhhhhhhhhhh!

  • the guy playing the second ppart should be quieter so we can here the first part but both realy good i wanna learn to play this

  • wow man, i've been playing baritone for only 3 or so years (marching band and concert/sophomore in high school) and must say that's the best tone i've ever heard

  • i can plah this

  • @moronpnut227 then post a vid reply, thats wat He told mei!

  • I like ur hair... this was my first time hearing this Theme... Its cool :D

  • @Ch3zE0 It was a good hair day.

  • woa nice work man! keep posting! any tips for a euph player?

  • @cayojr5 Huge breaths through your mouth, play loud, don't stop. And find a private lesson teacher.

  • Yes.

    Yes

  • trippy ending haha

  • I looove this.

    I miss my baritone D:

    Stupid summer break .

  • can you do one where we can hear the first part?

  • i march for a high school what do prefer to march with. a baritone like the one you got or a yamaha marchin style

  • nice I play the tuba I have some videos on youtube

  • @wahhos7 Post a video reply!

  • TWins! oh....nvm that was cool

  • how do u get a sheet?

  • @vincentmei52 Go to my website: Tuba Peter d[o]t c[o]m.

  • i play this up an octave its a fun song

  • my buddy anthony loves to play this thing...this awesome:) but i thought it was faster?

  • Baritone rocks man!

  • Yaaaaaaaaaa go Euphonium!!!!!!!!!!! The first instrument I learnt and just love it!!!! =D

  • I just learned to play this on my 3 valve school baritone Thx for the sheets :)

  • @Peter, I hate them!

  • @skatercheesit I used to play 3 valves and few years ago I changed to 4. If you're going to change I would say you need to practice with 4 valves cause it takes a while getting used to.

  • awesome, ive got a question i hope u or someone else will know the answer to, im thinking about getting a yamaha 321s and it has 4 valves but for the past 5 years of my life (only 13) i have been playing a three valve, will it be hard to switch?

  • @skatercheesit Get the 4-valve. Yamaha 321 ftw.

  • @PeterTubaEuph hell no. YEP 642. much better. a true compensating euphonium.

  • @skatercheesit it doesnt change anyting, you dont even need to use the 4th valve, it just replaces 1+3 (C) with better tone.

  • @skatercheesit Get the 4 valve.

  • @skatercheesit i know its a lil late but its not different at all really, it just adds more notes to the lower register XD

  • @skatercheesit you dont even have to use the forth valve if you can bend notes

  • @who8mahbacon

I think 4th valve is the same as using 1st and 3rd valve

  • @brickman409 yes it is but lits like the 3rd valve it equals 1 and 2 but you never use it alone because its sharper

  • baritone horn ftw best instrument ever!

  • eey, are you playing on a Yamaha?

  • @daantjebariton Yes.

  • where'd you get the sheets

  • @kairiXII triple w d0t TubaPeter d0t c0m.

  • Thank you! That was awesome! This song is now my fav to play on the baritone!

  • you guys did fantastic for some reason while hearing it i just wanted to put on my link's adventures game lol! but overall nice job and i loved the end
