there is 1 reason and 1 reason only that it caught on fire. i am an srt4 owner myself and the headlight sensor in the dash is what overheats and catches fire. they were supposed to fix this problem in the 05s which i have. but i have also seen 05s with the same problem so who the hell knows. drive with your headlights on as LEAST AS POSSIBLE for all you srt4 owners. lets make these beautiful cars last. thanks!

If you changed the turbo like it was written on your windows for AGP's, you should of swapped the OEM engine coolant tank for a metal one... that's why it caught on fire. Turbo can get really hot and if you didn't turbo time it too it's can get very messy! The tank melts and the prestone caches fire... and then the firewall and so on...

@Steffy0423 looked like a stock turbo, and you can tell the source was in his dash for the fire, if it were just hot coolant the extent of the damage would be a melted overflow bottle no fire because coolant doesn't ignite.

i didnt change the turbo the agp was the solid motor mounts the turbo was trimed and clipped but the fire stated in side not under the hood more like under the dash

Hope you don't have Progressive. They'll F your A. Mine caught on fire back in December and I'm having to fight them tooth and nail. Mine caught on fire because of the return fuel hose breaking and spraying my exhaust mani. They refused to pay for a melted wiring harness, melted front tires, and it took 3 months for a Radiator overflow can to get here. On top of that the Dodge place didn't clean the fire extinguisher crap off the engine bay and didn't wrap the wiring with tape.
