  • "black on black murder"...this is 2012...does it matter whether it's black on black or not?? wtf murder is murder and just bc the killers skin color is the same as the victim doesn't make it any worse than any other murder. We are all human, and murder is wrong. Period. wtf last I checked, this wasn't 1980 anymore....lets make some more progress people.

  • @TheRickyp83 Though what you say is essentially true, that isn't the point Jay and Kanye are conveying; The true point is that we as African-Americans aren't culturally inclined. Mexicans, Asians, hell even the Indians are all culturally bounded and are treated as brethren amongst each other. Though this doesn't necessarily mean they don't murder their own kind(which is very rarely I may add), it just simply means Blacks are slipping. Now listen to the lyrics once more and see the connection.

  • @supersora28 Mexicans murder each other all the time....

  • They (Jay & Ye) need to make more songs addressing these topics....they have the ppl ears and hearts...should use that power to to affect their minds in more positive ways

It's all black, I love us

Holy Shit, Jay-Z dissin 50 Cent? Maybe? Cuz In What Up Gangsta by 50 Cent, the chorus goes "What up cuz? What up blood? What up cuz? What up Gangsta?"

  • @InDaGhetto11 Nah bitch suck it.

  • best album since biggies' ready to die !!!!! ya i said it >>>>

  • WHY DO DEAF PPL BOTHER CLICKIN DISLIKE?? :/

  • society (in britain) at least is fucked in that minority ethnicities are just pushed away and made to live in deprived, ghettoised areas unable to intergrate with the rest. then people wonder why gang culture exists? xenophobia is mad, people need to grow the fuck up. kanye & jay z are spot on yeyeee watch the throne

  • Comment removed

  • wow Jay-Z said "wassup blood? wassup cuzz? it's all black I love us!" strong words if put thought into it

  • This song is meaningful to every black youngin

I was born on december 9th 1992, a shockin' fact over thats the day 20 blacks died from gun crime black on black murder needs to stop man

  • This song is deep to me it represents Blacks pushing each other out the way to succeed in life instead of helping one another out...

  • this is welcome to the jungke not marder to exelence

  • "In Sheepskin Coats/ I silence the Lamb/ Do you know who i am Clariece??" YESSS!!!!

  • @Relltheremedy fav line i swear

  • i really listen to this song just to hear kanye verse about the amount who died in iraq vs amount who died in iraq and when he talks about.... fuck it everything kanye says speaks to me.

  • @Barhuumi Are you retarded? On the streets every one said Nas won, not Jay Z.....and let me ask you this? Why would Jay Z admit to losing to Nas if he won? He said it straight up in person that Nas won that battle.....i'm pretty sure Jay Z's opinion is a little bit more important than yours........ur sucha clown dude

  • @MrXxZeldaxX17 it's a matter of opinion.. and jay eeven said recently Takeover was the stronger diss... i rate Nas as a better MC and i get why he might've won that battle because it was him against the ROC... but as soon as Jay dropped those lyrics bout his baby kid the battle was over for me... That's my opinion. P.S. we was having a respectful conversation, don't start saying insults over the web, makes you look retarded.

  • this album is almost as good as jay z's blue print.

  • Lol, the song on the background is Romanian :))

  • the message is great in this...all this gang shit needs to stop. black on black, brown on brown, white on white whatever....wish it could stop.

  • Nas won that battle. Jay has even referenced getting stronger since that exchange. Why would he say that if he won? That being said, Nas and Jay are legends who have shaped a generation of artist that have come after them. Its too easy for us to compare them against eachother to try and tear them down It would be good to take some time to celebrate their success, instead of waiting for them to die and pretending that we were always down with them.

  • Comment removed

  • @chosendrawz how did nas vs jay z become a topic of conversation on this song??

  • @chosendrawz that doesntr mean nas won lolall he saying is he went thru a crazy beef and it made him stronger u hype nigga

  • hmm interesting concept.. Genocide

  • no cheap cologne whenever i sheesh sheesh!!! Jay-Z= Rap God

  • why is this explicit people nedd to let loose man i swear

  • I would love to hear a remix to this with Nas, Talib Kweli, Rhymefest, Yasin Bey (Mos Def), oh and Common. That would be dope

  • @aekni220 I dont know any of those people

  • @toaster2muffin You don't know who Nas, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Rhymefest are? Woooow! That is a first.

  • @toaster2muffin You are fucking stupid

  • @aekni220 that would the dopest

  • @quote55 I know huh? Could even throw Q-Tip on there to top it off. I would love to see that happen.

  • @Barhuumi Trust me i listen to every song deeply......i have seen all the documentaries on the battle and the opinions of other rappers, and almost everyone gave Nas the edge, and some people were saying some of the stuff Jay was saying was not true, whereas Nas did say the truth, but hey, thats just what other rappers were saying, and to me Ether was the better diss, but to each his own, I just think if you took Nas in his best years versus Jay in his best years, Nas was the better emcee

  • @MrXxZeldaxX17 fuck documentarties and people who listen to nerds opinions... hip hop will always be on the streets.. and Jay-Z won on the street

"I came in ya Bentley backseat

    Skeeted in Jeep

Left condoms in ya baby seat"

"nd since you infatuated with sayin tha gay shit

Yes u was kissin my dick when u was kissin that bitch"

From then onwards lyrics just go outta the window... those are some lethal lyrics my friend.

  • the way i just killed the replay button :)

  • @Barhuumi I unno man, when Jay and Biggie were alive, i thought Biggie had the edge, but anyways yes Nas did excel in what Rakim started and to me Nas is also better than Jay when he wants to be, i mean look at what Nas did to Jay in their battle, Nas wasn't making music as much and came out and destroyed Jay, Nas has always been the better emcee, Jay has survived through eras but not because he is better than everyone else, he has admitted to dumbing down his lyrics for cash, some artists dont

  • @MrXxZeldaxX17 "Would you rather be underpaid or overrated?"- Jay Z

  • @MrXxZeldaxX17 Nas is my fav rapper.. but Jay won that battle by a mile.. listen to Takeover deeply bruv.. listen to the lyrics.. for me ether was just playground insults.. takeover was the most clever diss of all time.. no one else would've replied, but it was a draw overall... without takeover nas would probs not be rapping today.

  • @Barhuumi I love Jay too, he is definitely a top 10 rapper ever! But i honestly don't think he is on the level of Rakim, Kool G Rap, hell even when Biggie was alive, everyone knew who was better between the two, but Jay is definitely in the conversation, all opinions though

  • @MrXxZeldaxX17 bruv when biggie was alive Jay-z was way better lyrically... After biggie hooked up with Jay in 96... biggie improved lyrically in his following album as a result. This guy is a genius... has got like 999 different flows.... lyrics raw as you can get. Rakim personally changed hip hop forever with his rhming structures and shit... but Nas whilst a carbon copy excelled Rakim on illmatic. Jay tho moves with every era of hip hop. NO1 else could survive 4 different eras

  • love the beat

  • What i hate is how a majority ppl just go wit the beat and dont even listen to the lyrics which in this song tell a message unlike other songs from other artist like madona and nikki pitbull and all the other mainstream ish

  • I can honestly say that as a man who's listened to more or less everything hip hop has to offer.. Jay is truly the goat. Don't let this mainstream image fool you.

"i dumbed down for my audience to double my dollars"

  • watch the throne was the hardest hes gone in a while his rhymes are more complex so u acctually have to think and listen to what he says. and kanyes first verse is from jay-z black album i come from the capital that murders for capitals

  • best ijn the albulm.....

  • Now please, domino, domino

Only spot a few blacks the higher I go

What’s up to Will? Shout out to O

That ain’t enough.. we gonna need a million more

"Kick in the door" Biggie flow

I’m all dressed up with nowhere to go

Those words look so simple.. but i swear it's the deepest thing he's said in years.

  • @Barhuumi I think the most powerful thing in this song is "i stink of success"

  • @fredsta500 lol

  • @Barhuumi where'd he say that?

  • @Barhuumi nevermind ;p

  • @Barhuumi only if he did this regularly again

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up if you understand the true meaning of both parts of this track. Forget all the ignorant simple minded fools on YouTube. Definitely the most meaningful track on the album.

  • Comment removed

  • This is hands down the best track on the album....

  • bloody murder!!

  • Can someone please explain this song to me? I don't get it, obviously some of the bars are going over my head :S lol

  • @MurdaaLand Jay-z and Kanye are talking about whats wrong with the black community in poor neighborhoods (i.e stuff like gang violence, poor education,) and saying the culture needs to change

  • @BroDovakhiin Exactly!!!

  • @BroDovakhiin No... you clearly missed the point - It's talking about how far black people have come from perhaps 20 years ago

  • @Sethagrius That too. They are talking about triumphs black people have made, and are saying they can take it even further

  • @BroDovakhiin seems like we're in need of a cultural re-boot

  • i would hate kanye if he wasnt afiliated with jay

  • @psufball1 why

  • @trudon hes extroadinarily arrogant, not that great of a rapper, a drama queen, abuses publicity (south park made fun of him for a reason), if more people listened to jedi mind tricks, army of the pharoahs, etc. theyd have a different opinion of these guys

  • @psufball1 hes a genius. gtfo if you cant respect him

  • @psufball1 he's a self admitted egomaniac or the international asshole as he says. that take's nothing away from his artistic nature. i listen to aotp and jmt too as well as la coka nostra etc. i like kanye also. two completely different forms of hip-hop but hip-hop none the less. i don't have a different opinion of these guys. i know vinnie paz doesn't like kanye but he has respect for jay. he once wore a reasonable doubt t-shirt whilst performing.

  • @psufball1 why

  • People that say Kanye and Jay sucks because all they rap about is money and hoes need to listen to this

  • @LCash523 They still suck, the only thing you fakes listen to is the beat and a catchy hook and your sorted. Public enemy, NWA, KRS One, listen to them then come back and listen to this and tell me this is real shit.

  • @Gendead1 how bout you listen to nas before becoming famous gang starr big L

  • Capalna rulz!!

  • This shit's deep. And people say rap is ignorant, unintelligent crap. smh.

  • @ajithpsuku some rap artists are ignorant and unintelligent like Flocka, Gucci, Lil Wayne that make these people think that way. But there are still intelligent artists such as Lupe, Jay, Ye, Common that are making rap look good.

  • @PeTaRMaNu1 lots of dead rappers are good too. i agree.

  • RIP Danroy Henry

  • @chubakapra "Fetele de la Căpâlna"

  • @AnaEnescu Close enough... :d

  • this song is deep. talks about real shit

  • Lyrics are wrong, on Jay-Z's verse it's "On december 21rst we supposed to die, ...."

  • Do It Epic Ent Check My Version Out On My Page

  • @29krazyk hahaha thats the worst opinion i've heard yet

  • @29krazyk You really don't get the song at all. Jay-Z is talking about how poorly educated and bad some black communities are. He is saying the culture needs to change

  • you could spend an hour trying to find a good version of this song

  • My favorite song of the album!

  • Song of the year, easily

  • Watch the throne is looking to clean the Grammys next year unless some of these whack rappers start coming correct. im looking at you Cash Money....you guys all are trash now

  • @domond123 thank you for that comment. i appreciate people actual realizing good music and not some fanboy rap shit.

  • Kanye West lost two grammys to himself because he was nominated twice in the same category. Thats just fucking boss.

  • @BroDovakhiin Looks like it was black on black murder in that case.

  • I feel like WTT should of won album of the year. But that's just me.

  • Hip hop is not dead!! #kanye&jay

  • 314 souls died in iraq

    509 died in Chicago

    wow
