Studio IG really hit the ball out of the park on this one, stylistically, I think. This has to be one of the best looking animes I've ever seen. You've demonstrated great potential for growth and stylistic branching already, so I'd love to see you try out a style like this sometime.

Hehe, thanks! I'm still trying to figure out what exactly happened to this in the US market -- I've heard that translation stopped at some point, but looks like Amazon's got it. I purchased it at one of those buffet anime download sites (Anime Eden carries it, for example), which seem to? distribute the Anime Kraze fansubbed release and not any kind of official relase.

The first six and the last six episodes are the best IMO; it settles into a sort of offbeat family drama in between those.
