This is my model at Vernon airfield and is the Ansaldo Ballila, not the SVA5. I realy appreciate this excellent video as this flight was taken during a violent storm cell which came over the flying field, as can be heard with the wind and seen with the blue sky, white clouds and very dark clouds over the flight path. Perfect!
Beautiful job! This plane is suddenly gaining popularity. I posted an electric rc conversion video of a 200% enlargement of the Sterling plan, a few months back. I saw a 1/4 scale version built by Rich Feroldi at the Scale Masters, and had to have one.
@neonenour89 Interesting that they were in service in Libya for so long. Given their speed, they really were not fully obsolete until the mid 1930's. I still have mine and it has only flown twice. It is a favorite display model, so I may never fly it again, as it is so treasured.
Jerrylebass, I built one from modified Sterling plans, but Manzano Laser has a Balilla kit that could be made into an SVA5. Build one and you will love it, as the lines are beautiful and like none other.

@WTFLYR
this planes were still used before the world war II in Libia for recognitions. My grandpa still remembers them, and he told me that many fell down!
