Kunjin, West Nile, Yellow fever, St louis encephalitis.

It has nothing to do with hydrophobia/rabies. cepha = head/brain itis=inflammation.  It's a swelling of the brain.

Rabies causes acute encephalitis in mammals, that's what kills, not the rabies itself.
