This was my favorite bumper ever! Of course, I don't think Cartoon Network had any bad or annoying bumpers back then, but man the dexter ones were great! The way that they had the characters interact with each other or the logo or would edit the logo into random clips was awesome, and way more creative than their crappy look now!
It makes me cry a little that they don't have the old cartoon network back. If they don't want to change their network, then they should make another one like "Cartoon Retro" or something. I know they're on boomerang, but I want the 90's cartoons.
Going back and looking at the credits for the great cartoons back in the 90's, it's obvious why there were so many that were consistently good. A lot of the animators and directors went to school together, and worked together on a lot of projects.
I also would have something to do with the bumps and commercials had on Cartoon Network at the time. I mean, when I saw commercials such as this, the anvil bump, etc., it helped me feel excited about the show coming on. Now on Cartoon Network, you have little head, Big mouth and ____Fail. Those don't do anything for me. It's as though they're sucking up all the creativity from the Cartoon Network...
