Re: Breast feeding her 5 and 7 year olds

If and when you guys have children, how long do you anticipate breastfeeding? What age is the magical number when it progresses from healthy source of nutrition, immunity, emotional comfort, and bonding to 'fucking sick.' I think every child weans at a time appropriate for them. I had no intended arbitrary age when my son was born. He's 10 months now, but I don't think I need to tell myself, "Okay when he is 18 month old, then I have to stop. It's not okay then." What's your number cut off?

@postbunnie, not to you me and my friend were 18 when we made this video, we are now 21 i understand that. and actually it is statistically proven that the longer you breast feed, the better the childs grades are in school... and there reading level and overall skills... but i personally believe that the mother could pump her breast and feed the child in a sippy cup, or glass ( age approp. ) becuase having a 5-8 year old suck on a mothers breast to me is a little innapropriate

@PHYSCOholicPICTURES So from age 5 and up you think the child should take the milk from a cup? That's probably reasonable. I guess it also has a lot to do with what the child wants though. I don't think children have the vaguest notion of what defines sexual behaviors even at 5. You might have the awkwardness of being a mother with a small child on the breast, but I don't think mothers posses a sexual attraction to their children either. It COULD happen, but is it likely?

@postbunnie possibley, i have know people also that coddle there children into the fact of well for example im trying to pick on that most people will know * look at Freddy on Icarly?* him and his mother have a pretty unhealthy relationship she is way to over-everything.. not real people i know. but im just saying one. a mother can get to attached and the child can also have problems with the atachment. there is such a thing as over done. i mean a 8 year old? thats a bit old for BM

@postbunnie basically what im trying to say is a 2 or 3 year old is understandable,... but when a child is 4 -5-6-7-8? 9!!! they should not be on there mothers breast, i mean would you expect a 16 year old to be walking around on his mothers breast..? also i know some 9 year old that like boobs and u know kids dont know any better and they could also feel " oh yeah i get boobs tonight" its just alot. :/
