It is an offence for any police officer not just riot police to be on active duty without name badge. Yes name badges are important in a democracy, they shield citizens from the power of a law enforcement officer and allow their behaviour to be scrutinized. Do you think that police should be allowed to engage in unlawful behaviour and on what basis?

How are police cowards? If I counted right there were many many more protestors then police who were wearing little more than bullet proof vests. Ask yourselves a couple of questions. Why were only about 3 or four incidents replayed multiple times? How one sided would the opinion of a peace activist be on police actions? Why would you think you can try and go through a police line and not get physically pushed back?

Point 1. 4.09min which looped 3/4 isolated incidences.

Point 2. Cops where heavy handed...but provoked to a certain degree.

Point 3. The Guy in the yellow jacket is pushed back from the line of Police at least three times before he is taken away.

Point 4. The female photographer was actually pushed by two individual Officers who did not realise the other was taking action. Would it have been as bad if only one had pushed?
