Yeah, i wanted one for so many years now and i could finally get a used one in good conditions with around 250 head hours, two batteries, charger, firewire cable (now i have a spare one), remote and the AG-LW7208G wide lense but without the external XLR Mic and the mic holder. I wish i could get the 16:9 conversion lense.... i would even give away my wide lense as an exchange for that.
@KRAFTWERK2K6 Hope you got a good deal on the price. They've still managed to sell pretty high considering their age, but I'm sure it's a testament to their quality. I remember when they came out they were all the rage. I'd like to get one some time. I still enjoy working with standard def and it would be great to do so in 24P.
@x05e yeah in fact i did get my DVX for a very good price. Otherwise i still wouldn't have one :(
They are going away for a lot less money on ebay now then they used to do like 2 or 3 years ago. Probably because everyone is going HD now which is not really necessary if you have a DVX 100. And it's adjustable Cine gamma mode totally rocks!
I like working in SD as well especially because of the low compression and the compression method of DV. My Pentax Kx kinda works the same way using MJPEG.
Love the DVX...wish I had one!
