  • what do you do if the patient doesn't have a pulse or movement or sensation ?

  • You are so helpful. Thank you so much.

  • thanx bro..this video much important to me...

  • DISTAL TO PROXIMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Order of treatment is DEFG in your 2nd survey. So you should have treated E "Epithelial" before F "Fracture".

Don't forget to check for PMSC before and after splinting.

  • your suppose to check for pulse and circulation before and after you apply a splint to a wound. and you are supposed to make sure that you are not causing more injury when putting the splint on the area. that is the first thing that he should of said and also if the leg is deformed and not in a way for you to put something on like that you leave it alone and just transport like the PT is.

  • My brother had that happen to him. He flipped over the handle bars of his moped after being hit by a car. When he came down, his leg had an open compound fracture.

The doctor said that type of break is rare and that only 5% of fractures are open.

IDK if that's true, but it made my mom feel vindicated in her concern about Mike having a moped.

  • a first aider must be resourceful.. use an umbrella or wood as splint....think..

  • if you are in the wilderness and break your leg and you see bone, what do you do?

  • what if you dont have a splint?

  • improvised! dumbass!

  • Something thick and firm. You can use thick magazines and duct tape. If you're in the wilderness- hiking rope(Or duct tape, which you should always have in a survival situation) and a cut off piece of camping pad folded in half.
