Hey a friend and i are thinking about getting into this, having only done one tandem jump from 10,000 i know it takes a lot of practice but how long does it take to be able to do this? and how much does it cost, any tips?

@TheTycarroll I would check out the Great Book of BASE (just google the name). It is the best book to answer your question. Costs and time vary based on what path you take. But you need to skydive 200+ times and spend 2-4K on the skydiving gear and the same on the base gear.

I would like to think that its not that I dont have the balls, who can afford to do this?these kids obviously come from money. flight,hotel,gear,training,hel­icopter willing to drop you off ontop of a mountain. these kids probably don't even have jobs.
