Thanks Mike, I think you answered my question when I heard O' Dannel say he was reducing the number of departments. My question was, "How big a reduction in personnel with these consolidations?" 150 positions?!@#$!? Heaven help this liberal loon bastion of a state.
Some of his "consolidations" make no sense. Energy and the Environment are always at odds and should never be together. By putting them together, you lose the checks and balances. And $2billion from state employees? Seriously? Not all state employees make fantastic money and many are single wage earners - so now the mostly middle class state employee who is living pay check to pay check is asked to sacrifice - again. This is NOT a long term solution - make him look again.
