I'm 15 and my football coach's make us do a full body workout, that is bench press, squat, Incline, power clean, front squat, abs, hamstrings, and quads, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday. we normally have a 1 day recovery time (Tuesday and Thursday) on those days we do agility exercises. on days where we are out of school 1 day, like this week we didn't go Monday, we are doing a full body workout 3 days in a row (Tuesday-Thursday) and i feel like I'm about to die!! what's your opinion on this?

its not a younger or older thing, its the intensity that a person puts into the workout. u guys no what u r doing and put maximum effort into ur lifts. someone who is 18 and just starting out will not being going as hard because he doesnt no how yet
@jevinkevin Personally, I wait a week before i hit the same muscle groups again. I dont believe it will affect anything if you work your ass off the day you work out the specific muscle group. I do, and i have had great gains. I wouldn't wait over a week though.

I only hit the same muscle group once a week, so 7 days in between. I'm pretty sure that's what most people do. There's no way you'll catch me in the gym on the weekends. Also, I've noticed that the longer the rest, then harder I can train that muscle group. Once I went 8 days in between chest days and I had so much more strength.
