I turn the car damage off when playing all Need for Speed games. It's less realistic, but you don't have to be seen driving a messed up piece of junk. I love this game, you can really FEEL the power and speed of the cars this time around *Spoiler* the only thing I don't like about the game is the story. The cutscenes pop up a lot and for the most part are relatively boring when you just want to race, and not watch "Fast and Furious". Yes that's basically the story in this game too, sorry.
