  • Bro u should do more videos, you explain technique really well...

  • Oi Animado, your instruction is really clear and very easy to understand. Now I can really try this with all your cues in mind and I'm pretty sure I'll nail now with your tutorial. Thank you for posting

    Valeu

  • CApoera angola soh com dois macaco.. ;D axé BRasil!

  • The same day I learned this tech? I used it while sparring with a boxing-wrestling friend of mine. I faked the shot (double leg takedown) and went instantly into this tech. Not only did I nail him with the kick (pulled it otherwise he'd've been really hurt but still dropped and kinda stunned him) but I landed completely away from him so he couldn't launch a counterattack if he wanted to. Yep folks...I fight with my capoeira. There are still capoeira warrios *cough ANDERSON SILVA cough*

  • @ATACXGYMCAPOEIRA I APPLAUD UUUUU

  • @grurbanopt76 Thank you my capoeira brother! lol

  • @grurbanopt76 I was a whole lot closer though when I executed the tech and it wasn't really a full on kick it was much more of a angular bashing knee. I'm going to see if I can put up a video of it in the next few days to a week...

  • É muito bom saber que tem brasileiros brilhando na terra do Tio Sam!

  • "i am Animado..." kkkkkkk boa, velho! axé!

  • @markinvpc

    axe meu amigo!!!

  • @markinvpc

    hahahahahah!!! "thanks man!!!"

  • so what are the differences between au trocado and au de costa. the seem to be mechanically the same

  • @juniorbeat

when you attempt au trocado, you leap off of the opposite foot... Doing so, doubles the difficulty.

  • also is this any way related to butterfly twist? seems like the leg motion with hands on the floor.

  • @Chained2theGround

    exactly!!!

  • hey animado, how do you use this floreio? sometimes i see capoerista do it blind, not facing the opponent with legs towards them and sometimes they do it facing opponent..? Is this just preference? Do you know proper execution of this floreio? obrigado

  • @Chained2theGround Excellent question. i prefer to ALWAYS face my opponent, yet I have seen many Capoeiristas use this as an attack. if you go in blind, the legs with drape over your opponent. i have seen the blind maneuver throw several people off rhythm and catch them off guard.

  • damn, i love your movements

  • @CPHLBE

    thanks a ton!!!

  • good explanation more of them, please ;)

  • @TheFrozench

Thanks!!! I will press out more...

  • this move seems to be useful for bboy air tracks

  • @Davidkix

    Agreed!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello! This is very good tutorial. I really like your style of explaining, it's much better than you can find in other videos on YouTube. Can you possibly make a tutorial of Au Batido? Cause it's cool trick and I can never understand how to do it. Best wishes!

  • macaco tutorial please...

  • Another awesome video. Thanks.

  • @venki007f1

    Use it!!!

  • Excellent video man :) Can i ask you. Are you spinning on your plam as you would with Piao de Mao? Or are they hips rotating enough for you to make that spin?

  • @pimpelp35

It is just a hip rotation... It creates an illusion os spinning!!!

  • thank you very much for the great tutvid

    keep going!

  • @pankreaz1

    Absolutely my friend!!

  • bonito, as detalhas interesante

i appreciate your feedback, thank you very much!!!

  • Great job guys there, another cool tutorial easy to understand. Love this move, and I couldn't find the way to learn it, but I finally see what comes after what ;). As somebody just said, could you think of making an au helicoptero tutorial? I'm trying to learn it for 2 months and nothing, I'm just hopeless now..

  • @TomaszJay

    thank you much!!!

    I will make one soon...

  • One of my favorites. :)

  • @cjmcartney

    Thanks biggie!!

  • Thanks for doing this. When you do tutorials, the format I'd prefer is for you to do the move once, and then to do in an depth explanation. I did like seeing it incorporated in a larger game, too, but would prefer to see this at the end of the video.

  • @batidadefresa

    thanks for the feedback!!!

  • ani!! make a totorial to helicoptero please.. Au Helicoptero, S dobrado com helicoptero. please friend!!

  • @MarcielTribuzy

Just for you brother, JUST FOR YOU!!!

  • @grurbanopt76 yeahhh!! thanks brother!!! you're the best!!!

  • hey ani nice1 . You're getting better and better :-)

btw. can u do the splits?

    Have a nice day

  • @888167

    Not side splits o_O

    I am getting closer!!!

  • @dodgesxt check this one:

once u can do capoeira, kickboxing and parkour will become easier to learn in a shorter time period. Why? Capoeira involves stretching, several kicks AND fast movements and the training of all muscles. all u need

once u learn kickboxing, parkour and capoeira will become probably more difficult, because of the unknown new movements.

once u learn parkour, kickboxing and capoeira will be also difficult, because you have to learn to be tense, which u don't need in parkour.

  • Very good!!

  • @Fighter59FIFTY

    Brigado, I hope it helps...

  • I loooove the shoes!

Great tutorial, Animado! Keep em up :)

    Abracos!

    Axe.

  • @dodgesxt prepare to be sore beyond belief after the first couple classes, but be warned, capoeira is more addictive than crack :-) Have fun!
