Yet another AWESOME Loudness album!!! and although I love EVH to death, I can also say that Akira is not Japan's EVH, as IMO, Akira has surpassed Eddie by way much!
It amazes me how such modest, kind and fan-friendly guys can put out such vicious music. They talked to my friends and me for a long time when they played San Diego in '11 (right after blowing the roof off the club) and they were all genuinely happy to see us. What a change from ego driven American rockers :)
Only 20 years old and my dad raised me on 80s metal and rock especially thunder in the east and I gotta say this to me is the most creative and best sounding album they have ever done hands down. The musicianship and talent on here tops anything and everything I hear nowadays. And akira is back to being a God and a melodic master of the six string one of the tremendous influences on me being a guitar player. Outstanding work. LOUDNESS FOREVER!!!
Eve to Dawn is a phenomenal album! I'm hooked on this band since seeing them for the first time in May 2011! I only had one album, Thunder in the East from 85 and when a friend showed me several of his Loudness albums, I was blown away! Past albums to the current are outstanding new music to my ear. I practically listen to it everyday! Seeing Akira play live was an experience in itself. They are an great live band to watch. The musicianship is off the wall & a thundering machine!
Holy shit. That was impressive. I haven't listened to this band in 24 years and Akira Takasaki still has that same sick tone. I wish I could say that about Hanneman and King. If the rest of the album sounds like this they can consider one more unit sold.
The new album is the best one since 1989, I only get my Loudness Albums nowadays because its tradition, but Eve To Dawn is an insane piece of art I would never have expected from Loudness in 2011. It has the heavy metal, it has the old school soul, minoru niihara learned how to sing again, akira takasik decided to play solos instead of shredding at 400 bps and the bassist has several highlights, the drumming is great throughout the whole album. Why Loudness, didn't you deliver that kind
Insane album! My god... So addicted to Loudness again. As much as I love Loudness I never honestly expected something this caliber anymore. Holy crap but did they deliver.. Oh yes definitely! So glad they are back on track again! \m/ All around brilliant record. Masayuki Suzuki is an animal, AN ANIMAL! JUST AS MUCH AS THEY ALL. Brilliant fapping album. I'll raise my glass for Loudness and their newfound metal virtuoso god status. They are back. Cheers from Finland. \m/
