I saw Blondie in Tokyo on the Plastic Letters tour. My friend & I were the only 2 Americans in the audience as far as I know. Debbie asked the crowd to pogo but they didn't know what she meant. At 1 point I called out "Rip Her to Shreds" and Debbie heard me and said "That's coming" or something to that effect. There was a dude doing Karate chops & kicks in the walkway at 1 point but the crowd also contained some middle aged women. I got 1 picture of the band on stage.

I totally agree with you kingaldo71 that Debbie was really ahead of her time in her fashion. This clip is from 79 and she looks so modern, cool and minimal, but if you look at Solid Gold clips from 1983 the performers look so dated but it's after her time.
