  • I don't believe in François Hollande

  • I Don't Believe In Facebook.

  • No one quite wrote the suicide letter for the 60s Dream and the Beatles quite like John did on this song. Probably the best confessional tune ever. He basically says "Look, fuck all y'all. This is who I am and what I am, forget what you thought you knew about me. Let's all move on." And he did it in such a masterpiece of a song. Amazing.

  • I Don't Believe In Facebook.

  • Unlike Lennon, I do believe in Beatles & I don't believe in bloody Yoko.

  • @TheAdolescentCynic it wasn't Yoko's fault... John even said.

  • @ElCaballo500 I suppose that's right. At risk of sounding like a Lennon hater (And I'm not, he has a huge influence on me as a musician) it was really john lennon's ego that broke up the beatles.

  • @TheAdolescentCynic lennon would have told you off if he read that comment and was still alive.

  • @dcanjura123 That doesn't make my comment any less true.

  • I believe this is the most important song in his career, alongside Imagine.

  • being perfect is a figment of imagination. by being mere mortals we cannot achieve perfection.

  • @123jsbach i did.. heh

  • (cntd) the trouble is we all have our own ideas of what perfect actually is. for some pornography is straight from the mouth of hell, others feel that those who consume alcohol are the devils spawn, while those that have sex out of wed lock might as well prepare for the firey prongs of hell. these same people are also able to cheerfully bomb the bloody hell out of towns where they have no right to be, or stand back and let their neighbours suffer in poverty.

  • this song is about faith. I have stuff to get off my chest and this song is the best place to illustrate it. if i believe in god, and i think i do, it is not one that has been illustrated and organised by any religion. i believe that if god is love it is an understanding that people make mistakes. if god is love there is room for growth. if god is love it means to me that we are accepting of all beings. if god is love there must be recognition that mere mortals are far from perfect.

  • Oh my GOD !

  • This was my break up song on the 22nd..

  • I don't believe in an absolutely truth. But John Lennon almost got there with this song. Really oO

  • this song rather important to me :)

  • i hate the part when he says the DREAM IS OVER

  • I JUST BELIEVE IN ME. <3

  • This song is not about religion atleast not for me

  • I never thought a song would touch my heart so much.

I never thought I'd find someone with the same beliefs as me.

    Thank you John.

  • I was the walrus but now im john !!!

  • they all were god artists but john is more special cause he went through a lot of pain but he never was able to show it or express it, this album change a lot of peoples lives

  • Humanisme 101: Croyons en d'abord en soi, à l'homme et à son prochain, avant de croire à un Dieu, à un héros ou à une mode.

  • I dont Believe in America. I dont bellieve in Power.

I dont believe in Money. I dont believe in drugs. I dont believe in City"'s

I dont Believe in Oil. I Just Believe In Me. Reality Song.

  • For many people Lennon IS God. Not that I belong to them, but I wanted to voice this opinion that is kind of ironic.

  • Anyone who thinks this song is just about religion is missing the point.

  • I DON'T BELIEVE IN.. YOUTUBE

  • @zerosum318 yea fuk you tube.. google..

  • Not my song. But reality.

  • Ultimately one has to believe in oneself to get to the path of happiness. Like the real love begins within not without. That's what I get mostly from this song

  • good song

  • i love you LENNON

  • Why John Lennon didn't believe in himself?

  • @MatheusLemosPereira he said he just believes in him yoko and him

  • ringo starr wasn't the joker...heath leger was...

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth That book is very old. Seek new books

  • Ma questo è un altro plagio di Mr Lennon è uguale alla versione di love letters di elvis presley ascoltatela. Lennon copiava non era originale come il suo rivale Paul.

  • @paolo38021

Don´t say rubbish, both songs have gospel piano syles, but not the same melodies.

John Lennon "era originale", stop with this silly thing that "John Lennon and Paul were rivals" and stop trying making people don´t like him, because everybody does and you won´t change that.

    Cheers!

  • @Azzmador what i meant you may loss your mind,, but who cares right? his awesome

  • Four people don't know what good music is.

  • @haansn08 The magic with the Beatles is in alchemy of simple words supernatural music and harmonies they speak to all the people love friendship they touch our heart They are human being with defauts and qualities John is not a preacher just a man who find peace in his life with a japanese girl, in this song It's that I mean I don't believe in...I just believe in me and Yoko. In Hey Bulldog If you're lonely you can talk to me. Beatles or John or Paul always respect for believers or not

  • I find it ridiculous when people get offended by songs.

  • You people really don't understand this song

  • dont do drugs guys, look what happen to john

  • jesus was poor and told people to get along with each other - lennon was rich and isolated - i wonder whats better

  • Think things are confusing now? The Holy Bible indicates it will get worse as the power of antichrist increases. Much more deception is coming.

Ask Jesus Christ Son of God to redeem you today. Hold onto His words in the Holy Bible and follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

"for all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth hahahah... lame.

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth

Go back to cutting cocks and molesting children, you useless fucking wanker.

  • Christians & Jews have lived side by side in the USA for over 200 years, no wars between them. Why? Because Christians respect Christ's words that no one took His life from Him, He gave it. Hard to stir up animosity in face of the Lord's words. (See John 10:17-18)

Additionally, Jesus Christ stopped the destruction of Israel in the 6-Day War when Arab nations attacked.

How? By preparing Nixon in his childhood through his Christian mother. Christian America also defended the Jews against Hitler.

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....nixon saves!

    what an idiot

  • I kind of believe in Zimmerman.

  • @999Atwood Yeah same. While I do believe in John as the songwriting genius who better than anyone showed us a reflection of our inner selves and all the selfish, nasty, yet beautiful things that lay inside, Dylan is the greatest societal and culturual storyteller. He can weave stories in song that Lennon never even had the interest in. Plus he could always write the great tell-all too (Blood on the Tracks is nearly as biting as anything on JL/POB). Oh well, John was very single-minded.

  • I am a believer in Christ, however I still love this song. It's painful and beautiful. Especially if you know anything about Lennon.

  • @chandlercanfly I am also Christian and love this song. It is a little painful to hear him denounce Jesus, but I know where he was coming from. He was shedding his self-importance as an ex-beatle. Throwing away his own idols and such. The song does force you to think of your own idols and beliefs, but I have grown past that. And I have seen, first-hand, the power of prayer. We all must walk and live this life alone, with our own decisions. I am not a preacher, for that is not my calling. Love...

  • happy birthday john!!!!!!!

  • happy birthday john !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just believe in me

    w teraźniejszość...

  • I don't believe in Beatles.

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth How come no one ever thinks that his Jesus mention, could have been in reference to the "bigger than jesus" comment he made several years before? Being a frequent listener to John's songs would it be so weird to say that's what he was trying to say?

  • Are there wars without religion? Surely.

Those who live in the USA are aware of gang groups in the cities. The Crips & Bloods are two groups that have "warred" with each other. Death toll? Not sure, but it is no doubt higher than the official war listing of the invasion of Grenada. The Crips & Bloods engage in territorial aggression (no religion involved).

The Civil War was over slavery, a profit-making exercise.

Yet, who fears the Church Choir & Bible study groups?

    No one.

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth - i fear bible study groups as the new testament is the proof text of the persecution of the jewish people. this has been going on for 1700 + years & it continues today. john in the bible is hate literature against the jews. paul was a virulent anti-semite. jesus wasn't a christian. paul started christianity. wake up! jesus is dead - john lennon is dead. God is not a man, nor a dead man - Numbers 23:19

  • @GodisTruthseekTruth I fear the Westboro Baptist Church.

  • Comment removed

  • I listen to Maybe I'm Amazed, God, and All Things Must Pass in a row. By the end I'm sobbing. I think about the Beatles breaking up and going their seperate ways to create so much beauty. Then I feel bad about ignoring Ringo.

  • @findemaxa13 true, each one of them found his way to get over the painful breakup - John and Paul had their supporting and loving wives, George had his spiritual way and Ringo... he had alcohol :-) just kidding, but it´s true that Ringo was the only who regreted the breakup (see his song "Early 1970").

  • @MichalFokt I agree with you on how they got over it, but I don't believe Ringo was the only one who regretted it. It was upsetting to all four. Probably the most to Ringo, though.

  • @findemaxa13 If it makes you feel any better, Ringo was the drummer on this track :)

  • @findemaxa13 Ringo is on both this song and All things must pass so there is nothing to feel bad about

  • @findemaxa13 Ringo actually played the drums on this song, All Things Must Pass, and several other songs from the All Things Must Pass Album.

  • @findemaxa13 ahahaha poor ringo.............XD

  • @findemaxa13 How bout Good Night Vienna?

  • John was in touch with his God the many that are used to shame in my opinion. His point was to say I don't believe in any of these things because in my own self I must believe there fore I am in touch with God. That is my opinion John Lennon was so incredibly talented many things he said of course were misunderstood. That is what made him and then what happens he is shot by hate and this world seems to latch to hate more so than genuine Love.

  • I don't believe in magic

  • @TheLiza97 I agree. But a SHORT time its hard to hate him.... To me. But I mean he was apart of the Beatles the Beatles are amazing.... I don't really get it.

  • HEY .. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT??

IM TRYIN TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC OF THE BEATLES AND JOHN LENNON ALONE

I BEEN ALL OVER GOOGLE CAN SOME ONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND IT

    PLEASE ..THANK YOU!!

  • @gringo16mendoza1

you should use this website called zamzar.com. It converts youtube videos into basicly songs that you can listen to on itunes or whatever. Or download this program called frostwire where you can download music, and it works pretty good, just google it

  • @JSSSLVVV

already man! thanks !! ill check it out and see whats up! ill be in touch with you

  • @gringo16mendoza1

Pay for it on disc or buy it on iTunes.

  • Dear Johnny... we love ya, but when u sing: "i don't believe in Beatles"... well... those moments are enough to hate you for a short time. :(

  • @TheLiza97 This was right after The Beatles' painful breakup, and many of the songs on this album are about him accepting that and moving on. "God" especially is about him learning to be okay with himself (which by extension includes his other half Yoko, of course). Put yourself in his shoes! He is human too! :)

  • genius

  • didnt know this song would teach me so much stuff

  • This song brings tears to my eyes every-time.

  • @LordTryranus every single time. I love POB........

  • He changed everything.

  • John Lennon was the dreamer, Paul McCartney was the heart, George Harrison was the spirit and Ringo Starr was the joker of the Beatles.

  • @mattheus5012 thats bullshit man

  • I don`t belive in magic

  • JOHN LENNON/God

JUST BELIEVE IN ME、YOKO AND ME

    THAT’S REALITY、DREAM’S OVER…

  • I just believe in me,

    Yoko and me

  • @0ThePilgrim0 ..."and that's reality".

  • In the Classic Albums ep Ringo comments on this song saying, "I play drums, and if he wants to search, I'll play with you. And that's the way it went." Great line. It's how a great drummer and a great friend should be.

  • I don't believe in magic! No wonder he was assassinated. He told people to think for themselves.....

  • love tis guy---he changed the way i think

  • This is so true..... "don't believe in Yoga", "don't believe in Jesus"

  • "I have come to the conclusion that whether or not a person is a religious believer does not matter. Far more important is that they be a good human being." by Dalai Lama

  • @John1MN fuck that fascist bullshit idiot!

  • I was the Walrus, and now I'm John...another great line

  • The Best fuckin Song writter in rock history *-*

  • im just covered in goose bumps

  • maybe if yoko hadn't broken up the beatles they would have broken up anyway and had a even messier time of it

  • Yoko said when John was showing this to her for the first time, and he said "I don't believe in Beatles," he started to get choked up.

  • @ImagineRevolution64 i'm curious where did you read/see that?

  • @rockyraaacoon I'm not sure, but I believe it was in the Rolling Stone dedicated to John this last December.

  • @ImagineRevolution64 hmm, now I've got to find that issue of Rolling Stone magazine

    thanks!

  • .....and that's reality.......

  • .....and that's reality...

  • Classic album is Plastic Ono Band. Every single song is absolutely brilliant this being one of them.

  • simply amazing

  • I don't believe in Yoko!

  • @5Qtwpops she was 1 the that f up the band

  • @sergeantblue Many factors fucked the band. Yoko just happened to come in around the same time and add to it.

  • beautiful.

  • How can anyone write anything like this?

    The man was a genuis.

  • don't belive in jesus

  • @tom66776 u must be a nigger

  • @rankidick bet John would appreciate that one. Scumbag.

  • @rankidick you must be a pussy motherfucker who would never say shit to anyone in person

  • beautiful song

  • I was first struck with this song 16 maybe 17 in RICHMOND Va. I had a childhood friend who moved there and was infatuated with the Beatles. I've come along way and everything that is such a blue print in my mind was half my life away now. I believe in God and I think John did to

  • @222Lightning i think john is saying the exact opposite. he is saying that all he believes in is he and yoko because everything else could not be real. that's why he strips off everything else from elvis, to tarot, to beatles. reality was he and yoko. he was saying god was something people used when they felt pain. i think when somebody calls god a concept by which pain is measured he is saying 1) god is only a concept and 2) it is something we use as a means to gauge pain.

  • @seamonk54k4w

This is how it looks. Be real, do not accept myths that make people hate each other. Religions has so deep roots that it'll only be more harmful than rather helpful.

If you know what the evolution and natural selection are, then you shouldn't be believing in god since it loses its meaning. Evolution proved religion wrong.

  • In my opinion I think he believed in a creator........and I do to. Not in a white man's "christian" view of spirituality but like the American Indians belief in spirits and a creator here in the wind........not somewhere else in a cloud but here.........right now theres more to the story......A god among us but not seperate from us. And maybe within us ....Maybe John wasn't that scientific but I have faith he had faith.......I lay in bed and think about these things. I hear your comment THx

  • @222Lightning John Lennon = God.

  • Great Song . . . . . Lyrics are so true

    R.I.P John Lennon

  • Genius.

  • I'll be stuck on this for days, again. PEACE!

  • beautiful song!!!
