@wayne2020z They are all dying out now. All dem racists are 6ft under or generally on the scrapheap - they've smoked or drunk themselves to deaths bed (thinking that they're the hard-nuts back in da day) trouble is our taxes go to these cunts when it can go to someone who is ill/disabled and really needs it.
Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Canary Wharf! You can get the best salad ever at Pret à Manger sandwich bar. (Try the chicken and avocado or prawns and avocado) They had fashion shows all day long on Saturday in both shopping malls with clothes for both men and women. There's such a buzz there! It's great!
It is right to include in the description of the East End the fact of the nightly air raid bombing of the whole area, during period 1940
.
The affect of the nightly ememy attack, was to provide space for development after the war -the opportunity to build soon-redundant commercial buildings.
Were there no bombs, the original buildings would still be there -not pulled down, just updated.
i lived in Brockely (lewisham ) for 2,5 years, its 10 min ride by bike to Greenwich, I do love Docklands! Canary Wharf is the place where i want to live in the future... now i'm in Poland and miss London very much...
I miss Poland, the lovely restaurants with the organic vegetables and sometimes wild boar and the bucolic landscapes and lovely tall church steeples, and well-stocked malls.
.
The local folk are very welcoming and friendly, and tolerent and trusting; all the houses are big and are warm in the winter, the cities -not all that crowded and there are lots of historically significant sites and cultural icons.

I like London very much but I could not live there again - too far to get to work - huge distances. I love to go on holiday there though!!
