Wow. I'm in the same boat. I graduate this Summer with AA from Community College. With repeated classes GPA 4.0, without 3.93. Accounting Major. N0vakDj, look forward to meeting you.
I find it interesting that you offer to help others with help in transferring to these universities when you didn't know you had too many hours for UT and got auto rejected and didn't know to fulfill all the prereqs for Cornell, which also led to an auto reject.
I know this video is old, but still posting this for anyone else viewing.
I attend UT-Austin. McCombs business school is highly competitive. For external out of state transfers such as the video poster, only around 10% are admitted and the average GPA most recently was a 3.83 approximately. I suspect the poster might be international, in which case fewer than 5% got in, average GPA of 3.9. So while you were auto rejected for too many hours, odds were against your admission.
1)Don't whine over Cornell asking you to take a class not related to your major. It's an Ive League school. Don't get on your high horse.
2) It's not stupid that they won't take your units. UT@A is a great school. Don't be stuck up and whiny.
3) Okay, first you say you applied to 11, then 12, but you have the results for a total of 13. 7 rejections, 3 acceptances and 1 pending? That doesn't add up to 13. What kind of accounting major are you that you're terrible at math?
How's political science USC?

a friend of mine goes to USC. you'll probably get in because they love community college transfer students, and they also love out-of-state students.
