Interesting theory But the borders are wrong. California will most definitely NOT be in the same faction politically or culturally as Nevada and Arizona. As a matter of fact, California itself could end up divided into western and eastern zones-the big, coastal cities vs the rest of the state. Except for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is very conservative and I don't see them siding with the other Middle Atlantic states.

Also, if you think NV, AZ, ID, or UT are going to join California, think again. There's no way that will happen, and Oregon will never join because they respect their freedom too much.
