Not all Mormons get mad for that...I don't mind...but we rather be called members of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints...in that way the world finally will understand that we believe in Jesus too
Mormons generally prefer to be referred to as Latter-day Saints, although the term Mormon is generally acceptable if it is not used in a derogatory sense. We also prefer that our Church be called by its full name, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Church of Jesus Christ, the LDS Church, or simply the Church. Never the "Mormon Church."
I don't know really but the name of the church officially has been, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I think most mormons are trying to shake the fundamentalist stereotype and teachings. If a Mormon says they're Christian and believes Jesus is their savior, then we should welcome them rather than doing the unChristian thing of 'remembering evil' and not 'forgiving others'. I'd think it's worst to say to a group of people they aren't Christian and exclude them than to accept.
To those weary lost souls who are convinced they belong to the only true church, who carry a burden that Gods chosen failed to bear, there is freedom, liberty and eternal life in 1 name. Seek Him.
@BOON70 You couldn't possibly understand. You've ingested false doctrines. All Christian churches agree with these facts. There is 1 church of Jesus Christ. It is a body of believers in 1 God. Hear O Israel, the LORD our God is 1 Lord. The church of Jesus Christ accepts the Bible as the true Word of God. The Word of God tells us by faith in Christ and by Gods free gift of grace, there is salvation, resurrection and eternal life with Him.
@awolLDSasap Well if what your saying is true why wasn't the Sadducees, Pharisees, or whoever else have the correct Church? They all believe in a Messiah. Some Christian churches believe that baptism is important while other do not think so. If all Christian Churches are correct why do they have different beliefs and different names? Why was Paul so busy back then correcting doctrine amongst the Churches back then? Supposedly to you all we need to do is believe in the Bible. I wonder how many
@BOON70 Your leaders have deceived you. Paul never corrected the method of baptism. The apostles corrected the people when they taught false doctrines like, Jesus didn't rise from the grave, baptizing dead people, teaching "other gods", circumcision. The Chrisitan churches are NOT divided. ALL teach that God is infinite, God is ONE, Jesus is the Word, He is the Way, the Truth, the Life, His sacrifice and gift of grace is salvation, resurrection and eternal life with Him.
There are differences within the body of Christ. Baptism is one. The sacrament is a bit different in some. The services might differ. The infinite God and gospel are the same.
In Mormonism, you have a created god. The doctrines are contrary to the Bible. Eternal life with God can only be achieved by accepting Joseph Smith, the BookofMormon, baptized by someone in authority after becoming worthy & memorizing the articles of faith, then more works & temple secrets.
@awolLDSasap is other Gods? Back to the question though about supposed "all" Christian religions is right some believe one in three some believe in three in one. If they really believe that Christ is the way, the truth, and the life wouldn't that also mean their is only one way not multiple ways? Because if taught their is more way you would also be teaching against what Christ teaches. Just like 2 +2 = 4 not 5. I studied physics for a while to every truth their is only one answer not multiples.
@BOON70 You have no idea what you're talking about. Religion doesn't save. Jesus does. Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 1Cr 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let ALL THINGS be done unto EDIFYING. Eph 2:21 In whom ALL the building fitly framed together groweth unto an AN HOLY TEMPLE in the Lord: All together make THE BODY OF CHRIST
@awolLDSasap Father which is in heaven. If a person studies about Joseph Smith truthfully they will find he asked people to find out for themselves. If you want I can find the quote were Joseph said If I never had prayed and asked God which one was true I never would of believed it myself.
@BOON70 Joseph told the people to seek out the truth? Where did church approved reading and anti mormon come from? Out of a hat? Mormons have no freedom to seek the truth. It's wrong to believe Jesus will meet church leaders at Missouri. It is wrong to believe that black people and American Indians were cursed by God. Joseph alone cursed skin color.
@awolLDSasap freed him. If Christian Churches are so perfect why is that they have allowed people to own slaves in the past? The Mormon Church has never allowed such a thing. But if you want to talk about blacks holding the priesthood. Why did God only allow certain people to hold the priesthood in the Old Testament? Oh and the phrase where did the church approve reading and anti Mormon come from to me it looks like your trying to change the subject again. I am pretty sure you have ADD.
@BOON70 I never said that people in the church were perfect or never made mistakes. No one is perfect. No Church is perfect. Jesus "is" perfect. Male decendants of Aaron, "by strict conformity" became priests. Skin color was never a factor. The Romans destroyed the temple & the Aaronic lineage. When Jesus said "it is finished" all priesthood, law and temple ordinance ended. The law and the prophets were until John the Baptist. We seek the kingdom. The door and the kingdom is Jesus.
@awolLDSasap Your response before you changed the subject from what said last 3 times. One of those times you wasted in typing a whole paragraph that had nothing to do with the subject and should be marked as spam. Anyways back to the subject at hand. I notice you like to quote Paul all the time. Sometimes I wonder if all you have is a Gideon Bible. 1 Thes. 5:19-21 Quench not the Spirit, despise not prophesyings, and "prove all things"; hold fast that which is good. Looks to me like Paul is
@BOON70 telling us to prove wither the things he is saying are true or not. An alternate translation of prove in Greek is examine or put to the test. So question how do put the Bible to the test? Hmm, better to ask than God?
@BOON70 Denying what the Bible says and asking God if the Bofmormon is true is (spiritualism). Do you know what is good? Jesus. Jesus is the "Word" of God. You have refused the Word of God to rely on evidence free spiritualism.
@awolLDSasap So how is a person who has never read the Bible to find out if its true? My guess is ask God. How is a person to find out if the Book of Mormon is true ask God. Asking God if something is true isn't spiritualism. Spiritualism a belief that spirits of the dead communicate with the living usually through a medium (Merriam Webster) We do not use dead spirits to know the truth we use the Holy Ghost. Because who is that Mormons pray to the Father through name of Christ.
@BOON70 Fulfilled prophecy, historical names of people and cities found in the Bible. There it is, "evidence". You don't ask God if the Bible is true. There are prophetic testimonies even Gods own testimony telling us His Word can be trusted. When you close the Word of God to rely on your feelings, "its called spiritualism". How do you know the Holy Spirit is guiding you? Does this spirit agree with the Word of God? No it doesn't. In Mormonism, feelings take precedence over facts.
@awolLDSasap Wow you posted something that actually stays on topic that is amazing, I can actually read, and understand. Well if we are to base things on things we can feel with our hands and see with our eyes were does the Bible support in doing such a thing? It also looks to me like your trying to say we shouldn't rely on the Spirit of God (Holy Ghost) to guide us in our lives nor to help find the truth. But yet it says in the scriptures. John 14:5 Thomas asked, Lord, we know now whither thou
We have been commanded to test the spirits by the Word of God. Can a burning in the bosom be trusted? If this burning feeling leads a person to believe in other gods, they have been deceived by an evil spirit. The spirit of truth is Jesus Christ. Take a look at the next list. It describes the the heart, "Mormon feelings" and the nature of man, "Mormon worthiness".
The heart and the nature of man........ Gen 6:5 evil all of the time. Gen 8:2 evil from childhood Psa 14:2-3 all corrupt Job 4:17-19 foundations are dust Job 15:15-16 vile, corrupt, evil Job 25:4-6 but a maggot, a worm Isa. 59:7 sheds innocent blood Isa. 64:6 unclean, like filthy rags Jer. 13:23 accustomed to evil Jer 17:9 heart is deceitful Mk 7:20-23 murder, slander, adultery Jhn 2:24-25 Jesus... no trust in man Rom. 3:10-18 worthless, none seek God Rom 7:18 nothing good in me.
@awolLDSasap question. If someone prays for help and they receive an answer how does God answer it? Does he not tell them in their hearts and minds? This even follows the law of witnesses which Paul also mentions 2 Cor 13:1 The other question that remains was Christ ever lead by the spirit? Matt 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit. Was Christ himself following an evil spirit? In Isa 58:11 It says the Lord Shall guide thee continually. Well how is gonna do that we all know he isn't going to
@awolLDSasap Hmm you don't make sense. You can trust your feelings but then you say the Lord guides us continually? Even if you saw a sign from God how would you know its really from God? If you "feel" God has told you something how do you know that? Even if you don't admit it you still rely on your feelings. Not all the translations agree with each other as well. Some people don't even agree with the King James Version either. They are not exact translation of the other. The orignal Greek
@BOON70 You didn't understand the comment. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. The Lord has been guiding us for 2000 years. I never said to rely on feelings that disagree with what God has already said. Your Biblical translation complaining is a STRAW MAN.
@awolLDSasap Straw Man is when your trying to go against something like a really big block of metal and hitting with a stick. Just like all you do is complain about this or that then try and change the subject but find yourself back at the same place with nothing. Also if you had studied Hebrew you would know that many times when it appears that Elohim and Jehovah our the same they are not. My guess is you are one of these people that when it comes to Hebrew all you know is the word Yawah.
@awolLDSasap lead me in truth, and teach me. He always say the Bible is true but even it is just because it says its the word of God. Which translation is correct? Septuagint - 250 A.D. Written in Greek
Vulgate- 400 A.D. First version of the Bible which is canonized at the Council of Carthage in 400 A.D. Written in Latin Luther's German Bible- 1534 A.D. King James Version- 1611 A.D. This is the most widely used versions however it has large number of errors given that none of the writers had a
@BOON70 Those translations do not say that Jesus was the spirit brother of lucifer or the Father is a created being. All of them say there is 1 God. All of them show that man is fallen and sin is great. All of them say Jesus Christ is the Word who became flesh and a servant unto death. All of them say that Jesus made the everlasting covenant. All of them say the grace of God is a free gift. Not one of them say grace can be merited or purchased with worthiness or money.
@BOON70 I know Irenaeus. Irenaeus taught the Biblical nature of God. He was continually fighting against the gnostics who believed in many Gods that ruled over the aeons. Truth.. There is only one LORD. These elohim, "gods" are subservient to the Almighty. God is the Creator. These beings, "elohim, gods" were created to serve the One Infinite LORD. Mortals become children of God, "like the angels were called the sons of God" when spiritual rebirth occurs.
@awolLDSasap My question to you is what does the word Elohim mean to you? I also ask you to be respectful of that name. I also notice you give a quote but no reference. So I don't even know if what your saying is true. Its like I said before I am not going to take your word on it.
@BOON70 Britannica - Elohim. First Known Use:1617 Elohim, (singular Eloah , Hebrew: God), the God of Israel in the Old Testament. A PLURAL of MAJESTY, the term Elohim—though sometimes used for OTHER DEITIES, such as the Moabite god Chemosh, the Sidonian goddess Astarte, and also for other majestic beings such as ANGELS, KINGS, JUDGES, (the Old Testament shofeṭim). The one and only God of Israel, whose personal name was revealed to Moses as YHWH, or Yahweh. Mormons have the wrong name useage.
@awolLDSasap Actually if you look it up you will find that Mormons knew that before Britannica even came along. Joseph Smith, Jr., Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, selected by Joseph Fielding Smith, (Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Company, 1976), 371and Eugene Seaich, Ancient Texts and Mormonism, p. 20. If you don't know why you don't know Hebrew very well. Ah and you should straw man yourself. I haven't seen very many references for the stuff you say. But I always have lots.
@awolLDSasap Its like I said before you don't understand Hebrew. You must also take in mind Jesus called his Father by his name on the cross before he gave up his life. Since he [Jesus] is one with the Father in all of the attributes of perfection, and since he exercises the power and authority of the Father...the Father puts his own name on the Son and authorizes him to speak in the first person as though he were the Father. Where can you find evidence of this? Gensis 2 when it talks of God
@awolLDSasap when translated back to Hebrew this is what you find Yahweh-Elohim. You also find the short from for the word Elohim all though out the scriptures. You will also find angels speaking on behalf of God or Christ Genesis 22:11-12; Exodus 3:2, 6; 23:20–21; Revelation 1:1; 19:9–13; 22:8–16. Otherwise divine investiture all throughout the scriptures. Again I can see that all you have done is proved again that all you have done is read something off some website about Anti Mormonism.
@BOON70 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word Was God. Let this mind be in you... / in / Jesus: Who, being in the Form of God, thought it Not Robbery to be Equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon him the Form of a Servant, and was Made in the Likeness of men: So, "God" "the Word" became flesh, to glorify God the Father. The "Word of God" created all things, seen and unseen. The Infinite Creator of all things cannot be a spirit brother to anyone.
Again. There is evidence for the Bible. The Word of God has revealed that faith consists of substance and evidence. Comparing Biblical verse to Josephs stories, Josephs stories end with zero credibility. Father in heaven was never a mortal with a body, Jesus is not a spirit brother and you have no priesthood power from God. You rely on a priesthood invented by Joseph, a god who is not real and have been led to believe the cross of Calvery is a foolish Roman execution device. You are perishing.
@awolLDSasap Ah were I looked up that Jehovah speaks as Elohim wasn't a Mormon reference it was from Hebrew translator. If you want I can give you references I will have to go through the work of finding it again. But I also showed where angels took the place of Christ they spoke as Christ himself were speaking. Same goes for when Christ spokes as his Father. He spoke as if he was his Father speaking. Oh and I should say when one of my kids throws a tantrum I put them in time out.
@BOON70 If I looked it up where? At "Mormon bore me to death dot org" I would know that Mormons knew it before Britannica? Are you blind? Elohim. first known use 1617. I'm outa here. I have this bad habit of leaving posts that are filled with bragging and have become incredibly annoying. It's just the way I am. Have it your way, brag away...
@BOON70 Mormon context of the Bible is corrupt. Elohim is not the name of God. Elohim is the plural. It would be the Father, Son and Spirit. YHWH led to Yahweh as the God of the Israelites. Yahweh became Jehovah as the name of God.
Revised Standard Version- 1952 A.D. Literal translation into American English which used the earliest possible text New International Version- 1960's & 70's A.D. This is a very good contemporary English version. Another good contemporary English version is New King James Version (NKJV) The Youngs Literal Translation is as close to the originals as you can get, translated by Robert Young in 1898 A.D
@awolLDSasap Well you like to quote Paul you should know the feelings of the spirit. Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law. I don't know why you quoted all those scriptures. The Holy Ghost comes not from man but from God. If something come from God would it be evil? Didn't Christ say that he gave to be able to judge for ourselves wither a spirit be evil or not? Here is another
@BOON70 Thats true. The Holy Ghost comes from God because the Holy Ghost is God. Mortals cannot give others the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. The fruits of the spirit have nothing to do with testing the spirits. God does not contradict his own Word. If a feeling about a doctrine tells you there are many Gods, or you can handshake your way to live with God, you have been deceived by your feelings.
@BOON70 The gospel is spam? Bite your tounge. Mormonism is a "Mt. Everest" of problems. Joseph & Hyrum were shot because of lies & theft. From glass looking, out of context notions like "the 2 sticks in Ezekiel", slander of Christianity, racist doctrines, polygamy, blacks denied priesthood, book of Abraham, No DNA or historical evidence, blood atonement & oaths removed from the temple is ample evidence to convict the church as a bad tree.
In parting "there is no sin after death" "No CHOICE"
@awolLDSasap Oh and the section on spam looks to me like someone needs to keep on subject again. Oh and you after you talked about spam all that stuff you wrote I would consider that as spam. What is spam? Disruptive messages or messages that go completely off subject. We were talking spiritualism. You really need to control temper or I don't know maybe do have ADD.
@BOON70 You're at the wrong video. No one cares about your spam complaints. I've told you this before. Make your point or comment about anything you like. If you start name calling or insert personal attacks I'm going to return fire.
@awolLDSasap What also can be considered as spam is a message that is just said in anger rather than talking of one subject goes and talks of ten different ones. For once try having a more organized message. Not only that you would make more sense. You always tend to bring up scriptures that have nothing to do with what is being talked about. If your going to quote someone or a scripture actually make it something about what we are talking about. Once we are done with that subject you can moveon
@BOON70 I have posted Biblical verse and problems with Mormonism. This video is a perfect format to do just that. If you have problem with it, be polite and have the courtesy to go find a Mormon video to defend.
@awolLDSasap goest; and how can we know the way? Then in vs. 26 it say, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. What do the teachings of Christ teach us the way, the truth, and the life.
@awolLDSasap come down with us face to face unless he has too or it is needed and we have the faith to see him face to face. In 2 Thes. 3:5 it says Lord direct your hearts into the love of God. When Moses lead the people of Israel through the desert did he always know what to do before hand or what was going to happen? We have all watched the Ten Commandment movie hopefully. Moses didn't know how they were going to cross the Red Sea nor did he know they were going to. Oh and finally Ps. 25:5
@BOON70 Feelings about books, doctrines or sport teams are not valid. You need to understand that Jesus is the infinite Word, the creator, the mediator, the mighty God. "In Him" we are perfected. On our own, our works and motives are worthless.
@BOON70 In (John 14), Jesus was telling the apostles the Holy Spirit would help them remember. It was the Holy Spirit that led them to write all of the things Jesus taught them. It's not talking about fuzzy feelings after reading a book. You think feelings should take precedence over the Word of God? 1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: / many false prophets are gone out into the world.
@awolLDSasap then why do you have so many that say they have proof that it is not true? But you might say well thats just one scripture. On the road Emmaus (Luke 24:13-32) two men talked of the things that had happened concerning the death of Christ. Christ meet these men and talked with them he told them not to be sad but that the Lord had risen. He broke bread with them and then disappeared from their site. They said to themselves did not our heart burn within us. Maybe that should of said
@BOON70 Their heart burned within them because of Jesus Christ. We are never told to pray about the Bibles truthfulness. Jesus is the Word of God and the Word was God.
@awolLDSasap I think we have been over 2x baptism for the dead. You point out just 1 Cor 15:29. But any person who reads 1 Cor 15:1-29 will see what Paul is saying if we do not believe in the resurrection why do we do baptisms for the dead? Oh and we don't baptize dead bodies. Do take note your talking to a "Active Mormon" who has done baptisms for the dead. Also that you never been a Mormon. What other Gods do we teach unless your mean teaching God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost
@BOON70 What other gods you ask? Created, exalted mortals are the gods of Mormonism. Those gods are NOT the God of the Bible. You are not Christian. You do not keep the commandments. Josephs restoration was a mirror image of Darwins theory of evolution. Josephs restoration is the evolution of man into gods. This idea came from Satan himself. Satan wanted men to raise themselves up and lower the glory of God.
@awolLDSasap If you ever actually studied Mormonism we only worship one God Jesus Christ. You say religion doesn't save thats kinda of oxymoron to me. If thats true that means all religion saves otherwise you talking to me about Mormonism is a waste of your time. Why is it so important that we find the true religion? I will let you answer rather than me just telling u. I don't know why you brought up 1 Cor 14:26 sounds like more babbling to me. Eph 2:21 doesn't go with the subject matter.
@BOON70 I've said it before. Religion doesn't save anyone. Jesus does. Mormons do not worship or pray to Jesus. To Mormons, Jesus is not the Mighty, Eternal God.
@awolLDSasap So saying in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. at the end of prayers doesn't mean anything okay. Gee you throw what ever you want and go on babbling don't you. John 3:7 doesn't talk about 3000 people being baptized. Yeah we do believe you put on the name of Christ when your are baptized. Yeah its true we are baptized by the spirit as well to complete baptism. Ah guess what I know religion doesn't save anyone only Jesus does even says that in the Book of Mormon. If we are to never to
"Mormons never talk to Jesus". In baptism, "we put on Christ" and testify that "His perfection" has removed our sin and that we have become one in his flock. No mortal has power to confirm the Holy Ghost on another person. Only "God the Holy Ghost" can do this.
@awolLDSasap Jesus never talked himself either when he prayed. He talked to his Father. Don't you guys believe in following the example of Christ so if he prayed to his Father who should we pray too?
@BOON70 You can't seem to get it through your thick head. I've told you before. Jesus is not the Father. Christians "put on Christ" when they are baptized. Christians do not follow men who claim works and money are necessary for salvation. "In Christ" we are led unto good works and offerings to help the less fortunate and support the shepherds.
@awolLDSasap If you have multiples its called a theory. It also can be theory if you don't have all the information. But since we try saying all Christian religions are true why do they believe in the Bible so differently? Do take in mind Christ said he was the "truth" so what ever religion has the most truth in it would bring you closer to Christ than the others. You said also that to gain eternal life one has to accept Joseph Smith if Joseph Smith is a true prophet if you reject you reject
@BOON70 Jesus is the truth. Joseph Smith is a false prophet. He is leading millions into death. To satisfy the craving of the human mind to know what is going on in the Spirit World, Satan invented "Spiritualism", "feelings", and when interest in it began to wane he revived it under the name of "Psychical Research." This system has existed from the earliest ages and has the UNqualified CONDEMNATION of the Scriptures. LIKE Joseph made up "as far as it is translated correctly" Joseph LIED.
@awolLDSasap You talk of Spiritualism first off you don't give any scriptures to back up what your saying second the scriptures back up feeling the spirit. Acts 2:37 What is going on is it the day Pentecost there are many gather together they all speak different languages. The begin to notice they all can understand each other Some of them begin to mock saying it is new wine. Peter then arises and says its not new wine but the spirit of God. He tells of the truthfulness of Christ. When they
@awolLDSasap heard his words, they were pricked in their hearts, and said to Peter, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Peter than invited them to repent and baptized. That day 3000 people were baptized. Maybe the should of said it spiritualism and that Peter was of the devil. Maybe they should of asked for more evidence? If you want to dig deeper what says the Bible is true? Because you said so or because some preacher said so? Well you might say well because I have this evidence that proves it
@BOON70 Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Did you notice the 3000 had been reborn in the spirit of God and proceeded to be baptized to "put on Christ" to become his followers? 1Cr 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Baptism does not guarantee rebirth in the spirit of God.
@awolLDSasap within those denominations you have divisions you also preachers of the same denomination teach different about different subjects. Also you have all these people who say take my word rather than pray and ask God because if a person does thats supposedly foolish. Then why do the scriptures say otherwise. How is it Peter knew Jesus was the Christ? By evidence you could see with your eyes and hold in your hands? Matt 16:17 Flesh and Blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my
@BOON70 The Christian churches are numerous like the creations of God. The Christian churches could be compared to the many different kinds of planets. All of the churches believe the same gospel. Jesus is God. His atonement occured on the cross and his sacrifice was sufficient to save the whole world. How did Peter know that Jesus was the Christ? Fulfilled prophecy, miracles and He rose from the dead. The apostles worshipped Jesus as the mighty God, "Isa 9:6".
@awolLDSasap Isa 9:6 doesn't say anything about worshiping Christ. In fact the whole chapter has nothing to do with worshiping Christ. Its like I said before you just make up stuff as you go. Joseph didn't curse skin color nor did he hate people that were different than him. A black man was arrested for selling alcohol in Missouri. Joseph asked why he did it. He said to get money to free his brother. Joseph brought his best horse said to the man take my horse sell it to free your brother and
@BOON70 Isaiah 9:6 stated "Jesus is the mighty God". Your comprehension is failing. Joseph gave the horse to free a black man? Thats a nice story, but the action could not save Joseph. Joseph was not good. Monson isn't good either. Jesus is good.
@awolLDSasap the Christ. (John 15:18,20) Do take note that all those who are reading this that Antis always ask questions rather than answer question because they don't want to answer your questions (they will even go about and try attacking your character as well, to be honest I feel they are a bunch of monkeys jumping on a stage trying to get attention from everyone else). So I will ask again why so many different churches with so many different beliefs. Don't give me the differences story
@BOON70 The Christian churches together are, "the Holy Temple". 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these THREE are ONE. (Satan), hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the IMAGE of God, should shine unto them." 2 Cor. 4:3,4.To this end Satan has his preachers who preach "Another Gospel." Gal. 1:6-9.
Mormonism is another gospel. Jesus is not a spirit brother.
@awolLDSasap they had bad bread and said it was not the Christ. If a person looks at the Book of Mormon it doesn't ask a person to look for evidence in these things except it be through the spirit. Moroni 10:3-5 In Gal 5:22-23 Paul talks about the feelings of the Spirit. So if anything you deny the power of the spirit. You also deny that one can find the truth through the spirit. You talk of a house divided. Well you have all these different denominations within the Christian religion then
@BOON70 By Gods Word we test all things. If a spirit leads you to believe in a different God, "who is an exalted man" and a gospel that claims the atonement happened at Gathsemane, Its a false spirit. Truth will never come by denying the accuracy of the Bible and replacing it with feelings. That's spiritualism.
@BOON70 I can prove its the church of Joseph Smith and not the Church of Christ. Mormon doctrines insist that men are good and worthy by their works. The Bible asserts confirms that Jesus is good and his work was perfect and absolute. Mormons believe they can purchase eternal life with God. Jesus said, "it is impossible for man".
@awolLDSasap But sometimes I can't figure it out why people can't figure out what the Book of Mormon talks about. Espically when under the title it says "Another Testament of Jesus Christ"
@awolLDSasap My guess is you can't read the rest and that's why you need to go back to school to learn to read it says Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Which means what? Its testimony or people testifying of Christ. That is what the whole Book of Mormon is about.
@BOON70 What you really meant is the Bookofmormon is a testament of a guy named Jesus who was born as a spirit child, who was the spirit brother of Lucifer, who became a god after living the laws and ordinances of mormonism. You have a completely different gospel and seek after gods we have never known.
@awolLDSasap Yeah we preach a different message than you. We teach that God still speaks to man. What makes sense? You have all these Christian religions say God loves us. But yet they teach revelations are no longer needed anymore nor are prophets? What is the purpose of prophets and revelation? First we need to define was is revelation, it is inspiration, learning, or guidance given from God to man. Second what is a prophet? To act as God’s messenger and make known God’s will. So if God loves
@BOON70 There was a 400 year period of NO PROPHETS before Jesus arrived. Your church has FAILED to prove that prophets have always been around. The title of (prophet) ended when Jesus arrived. None of your prophets were chosen by God. Note. Christs name alone is the infinite power. Theft of the Melchizedec priesthood name has NO POWER and teaching that laws and ordinances are necessary is blasphemy against the work of God.
@awolLDSasap Don't you think I know this if you want to go back earlier. The first prophet to ever right in the Bible was Moses. So question who was the first prophet? I can tell you it wasn't Moses. There is a huge gap between the first prophet and Moses? No where does it say in Mormon doctrine that God has always had a prophet on the Earth. It does say however God has always called prophets but when? If you look through manuals made by the church it will just say this but not when. You just
@BOON70 Rom 3:21 But NOW the righteousness of God WITHOUT THE LAW is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Luk 16:16 The law and the prophets [were] UNTIL John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. Hbr 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have INFIRMITY; but the WORD of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is CONSECRATED FOREVER MORE. Jesus is our prophet and High Priest.
@BOON70 God is most certainly fair. He has given us a free gift of eternal life with HIm, "FREE". It cannot be purchased by work or money. Mormonism is unfair leading people to believe if they follow after men with titles their safety is gurarateed. In reality, they are in danger.
@awolLDSasap Do keep in mind in me saying all this stuff you no where have a professed to be any professor or anything of the such. But you have in a way by professing you know all these great secrets about the Mormon Church when most of it you can find written in book written by the Mormon Church. There are many times you even go about and take something completely out of context to make it out of something its not or take a few words out to change the meaning to bend to your views.
@awolLDSasap You haven't shown me anything other than you can be childish and good at running off subject, also that you like to draw attention like a two year old throwing a tantrum. Your last comment is as childish as if I said to you everyone in their notes they look up deception they find awolLDSasap with a picture of him beside it.
@BOON70 I was trying to knock that priesthood chip off your shoulder. Biblical verse seems to upset you. Why is that? Could it be a lack of humility? Does pride rule your world? You continue to tell me how smart you are. Here's a few easy questions. Why did Joseph claim the Father, Son and Holy Ghost made up 1 God, and by 1843 changed the Father and Son into exalted men? The 1835 D&C claims the Holy Spirit is the mind between the Father and Son. Biblically the Holy Spirit IS the Holy Ghost.
@awolLDSasap Oh about saying will knock the chip off my shoulder. Is that a threat you do know that youtube doesn't allow such threats and you can removed from youtube for it.
@awolLDSasap Why would I have to take it to the supreme court to get you banned all I would have to do is talk to youtube. Making threats is not allowed on youtube. If your really done I guess that means you will quit posting about the Mormon Church?
@awolLDSasap Oh and anyone who is reading this do take note that awolLDSasap didn't start acting this way till I told him to provide a reference that he doesn't he have obviously. Oh yeah that reminds me to doesn't the Bible say something about lying?
@BOON70 Your leaders are not messengers of God. They teach doctrines that are completely opposed to Biblical verse. Your leaders have changed the identity of God into an exalted man and Jesus into the spirit brother of lucifer. That is not the God of Israel.
@awolLDSasap assumed. But if you continue to study their our some books that are accepted by the church as church doctrine. You will find that God has always called prophets when he had a people.
@BOON70 The law and the prophets ENDED. Calvery and the ressurection ended the old and brought in the new, "which is the grace of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ". The temple veil was torn in half and later destroyed. The new holy temple is built without hands.
@awolLDSasap If the resurrection ended with Christ how could people get up out of their graves and go to see the people of Jerusalem after the Christ was raised from the dead? Matt 27:52-53. No where does it say the resurrection ended with Christ and Christ was to be the only one to be resurrected however it does say that Christ made the resurrection possible.
@BOON70 Wandering again? I have typos, but my comments are not that difficult to understand. I SAID the law and the prophets ENDED. Do you understand what the Holy Temple is? The structure is the Word of God & the building is made of saints who have been reborn of Spirit. This Temple is both in heaven and earth. The foundation of apostles were chosen and directed by "God, the Holy Ghost" to write His everlasting Word. The Holy Ghost never once left this planet or failed to guide the saints.
@awolLDSasap If anyone wandering it is you you go on babling about something till I answer your question then to draw attention you try and change the subject again. Because you do that I must ask do you have ADHD? Well so called professor of the Mormon religion it seems as if I have to correct you again. No were in Mormon doctrine does it say the Holy Ghost left what it does say that men rejected the Holy Ghost.
@BOON70 Is that so brainiac? The church of Jesus Christ never left the earth. YOU have been deceived by Sidneys Rigdons theft from Alexander Campbell who stole the Anabaptist restoration theology. Here's some historical humor. The "prophet" of the Anabaptists closed the Bible said it couldn't be trusted. He said truth would only come from his revelation. He ended up practicing polygamy and said the New Jerusalem would be in Germany. Sound familiar?
@awolLDSasap You speak of Alexander Campbell but you give no reference. So I will just consider it as hear say. Plus you don't give any reference for the Anabaptist. So what you say about Anabaptist for all I know could be hear say as well.
@BOON70 Alexander Campbells restoration theology. Rejection of infant baptism and original sin, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, the great apostacy, need for a restoration of the ancient order of things, restoration of Israel and conversion of the Jews, Imminent millennial reign of Christ, spiritual rebirth comes from hearing Gods word, sacrament meetings, self supporting missionaries, elders set apart by the laying on of hands, speaking as if commisioned by Jesus Christ"
@awolLDSasap First we must define does God look like you and I. As we read through the scriptures we find that God has body parts like you and I. Such as finger, hands, ears, nose, mouth, and looks very much like man in fact it says we are made after his image. So God looks like a man. The next question was God ever a man. Well everyone believes God is fair. So how can it be fair that God judges us having not gone through a test just like or similar to the one we are going through? So the real
@BOON70 The Father does not have a physical body. That's heretical dribble. Go right ahead and swim freely in the humanistic comfort zone of deception.
@awolLDSasap why doesn't he want us to know his will? If God loves us why doesn't he want us to have direction or guidance in our lives? You must also take note that revelation is also answers to prayers. So is the Christian world trying to say God doesn't answer prayers? If God loves us would he want us to have direction in our lives as well as answer our prayers. Some of you well I have my preacher for that? Tell me where does it say in the scriptures that God would give us revelation as a
@BOON70 Do you know who God is? Act 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them WITNESS, giving them the Holy Ghost/; LDS prophets and leaders teach the law is necessary. Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever THE LAW SAITH, it saith to them who are UNDER THE LAW: THAT EVERY MOUTH MAY BE STOPPED, and all the world may become GUILTY before God. The Holy Ghost and "the Word, who is Jesus" reveals everything to us. Jesus Christ is the leader, prophet and high priest. NO manpower.
@awolLDSasap Hmm no man power? I will tell you that the things of God did not come to pass by the power of man alone and never has but through the power of God in men. The prophets and apostles did not heal the sick by their own power. But if no man power then who wrote what your reading? A "man". My question is to you why do you think God called prophets and men to bring about his purposes he could of done it himself and did it better?
@BOON70 I'm not answering your corny questions. I've already told you that Jesus is the head of His church. He doesn't need anyone teaching another testament, which in reality is a false gospel with progressing gods.
@awolLDSasap You don't want to answer my questions because you know the answer and you don't like the answer so you try and avoid the question. I can see how some may look at it that way. But what was the "Law" could it have been the Law of Moses? We do find that the law of Moses ended after the death and resurrection of Christ, but prophets did not Acts 21:10 the apostle Paul talked with the prophet Agubus.this shows God did not cease to call prophets.
@BOON70 The prophets called by God were much like vagabonds and outcasts. They were hated and even killed by the people. From Joseph Smith onward, lds prophets are called mighty men, set upon thrones like kings while attempting to imitate the Old T. prophets. Every one of them have failed prophecies. They are millionaire presidents. They are presented as virtuous superstars who in reality deceive millions. There is great danger believing what these guys teach. You need to find the true Christ.
@awolLDSasap Actually if you look it up some people had come across the ocean to be with the saints Joseph went to go and see them. He went and wore what looked like rags to show them this is how he lives and so do the saints because they were poor all the time because of being pushed out of their homes having to leave everything all the time because of Anti Mormons.
Mormon is a nickname given to us because of the Book of Mormon, but those who refer to us as Mormons refuse to use the official name of the Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) because they refuse to accept us as Christians. I identify myself as a Christian by saying that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mormons are a nick name as we use the Book of Momon, foretold in the old testiment to come forth. Members ot the Chruch of Christ of L.D.S. are not mormons any more than the Baptist are the dunkerds as the were called in Europe in the 17th century. or the Roman Catholic are the "Fish Eaters" as they were known as in the early 20th century in the southren U.S. We are all Christians first and the LOrd will know my true name come judgment day, I pray he will know yours.
Do you also have another video entitled "Upset Coloreds"? I mean I honestly have no clue why "colored" people would be upset when there is an organization by the name of the "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People".
NAACP, Mormon Tabernacle, they're brands.
(I do not refer to African Americans as "Colored", nor do I condone it, just using the term to illustrate how moroninc this video is.)
The word Mormon is a nickname that people who did not like us gave us. If you want to give us a short name LDS is fine. LDS means Latter Day Saint. If we called ourselves members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints no one would no who we our. Like Katrina when lots of LDS people went down there to help. There were newspapers saying we are thankful for the help of the Mormons and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They didn't know it was the same thing.
We call ourselves that on commercials too bcz people dont know what the heck a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is. So we refer to "Mormon" bcz thats what people know us as.
you know, I hope being Mormon isn't going to be like the "Negroe" thing where every year or 3 we get a new nomenclature, I am not going to start calling Mormons whatever their favorite word is for themselves.Like "Christian"...... "Mormon" as self appointed descriptive word has been here from year One.
We were called Mormons by the "enemy" long ago. But I personally only think we are called Mormons because of the Book of Mormon. We prefer members of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints.
TO ALL CHRISTIANS...The God that you worship & pray to everyday...Can He talk? or you were made to believe that He does? And if He can't talk, than why in the hell you worship such a God?
At least the Mormons believe in the God that speaks & answers their prayers. Christians feared Joseph Smith ever since God the Father & His Son Jesus visited him, told him not to attend any of your blood-sucking establishments 'cause that's what they did then up 'til today. God speaks today!
The appearance of God the Father & His Son Jesus caused them to hate Joseph Smith & fear that his message to the world would prove them wrong among their own followers then, today...Christians are still trying to stop Mormonisms, but keep failing, just like the moron in this video asking stupid questions. He should go back & re-read his Bible over & over again until he understand God's own Plan of Salvation.
j.smith stated that no man can see God and live with out the "priesthood" problem is that he claims (in the official first vision.. on of several contradictory tales he made) that he saw God and Jesus BEFORE the priesthood was restored.
The plan of Salvation is in the New Testament, and no "other gospel"
The false teachings of j.smith may well sway minds, but that is true of all false religions.
God also said that your thoughts are not His & so are your ways 'cause His ways are higher than yours....God can show Himself in His own way & to whoever He thinks is ready to meet
BIDI "The plan of Salvation is in the New Testament"...But do you understand it? Do you understand our pre-mortal, mortal & post-mortal existence?
REV.14:6..If any Christian that can prove, an angel came down from heaven & gave him/her God's Everlasting Gospel that must be preached before Jesus return then maybe..
What must one do to be saved in the New Testament. Hear Romans 10:13-17 Believe Hebrews 11:6 Repent Luke 13:3 Confess Matthew 10:32-33 Be Baptized Mark 16:16 Walk Faithful Romans 6:1-4 Please cite where in the New Testament I may find any evidecne of pre-existance. Or the "heavenly mother" Or People being given in marriage Or Any prieisthood other than the "Royal Preisthood" I could go on..
I don't know you and don't like what you say so the problem is; you're not a real person.
Oh, please, if you choose to ignore the vast amount of support for the Book of Mormon that is your problem.
There is more support that Mormon existed than for Adam.
Confusion is the result of not knowing the basics and trying to apply one's own understanding. Calculus is confusing to those who don't understand Algebra. Just get some education.
I am perfectly willing to call them Latter day Saints.
All I ask is that they refer to me as a Former Day Saint.
Why don't they just call it "The Church of Joseph Smith"?
Anyway:

Not all Mormons get mad for that...I don't mind...but we rather be called members of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints...in that way the world finally will understand that we believe in Jesus too
nimrodcolocolo 4 months ago
Mormons generally prefer to be referred to as Latter-day Saints, although the term Mormon is generally acceptable if it is not used in a derogatory sense. We also prefer that our Church be called by its full name, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Church of Jesus Christ, the LDS Church, or simply the Church. Never the "Mormon Church."
AlterSteve 9 months ago

Seek Him.

@awolLDSasap How many churches did Christ establish? Many or one? We all know it is one so why is their so many different Christian Churches?
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 You couldn't possibly understand. You've ingested false doctrines. All Christian churches agree with these facts. There is 1 church of Jesus Christ. It is a body of believers in 1 God. Hear O Israel, the LORD our God is 1 Lord. The church of Jesus Christ accepts the Bible as the true Word of God. The Word of God tells us by faith in Christ and by Gods free gift of grace, there is salvation, resurrection and eternal life with Him.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Well if what your saying is true why wasn't the Sadducees, Pharisees, or whoever else have the correct Church? They all believe in a Messiah. Some Christian churches believe that baptism is important while other do not think so. If all Christian Churches are correct why do they have different beliefs and different names? Why was Paul so busy back then correcting doctrine amongst the Churches back then? Supposedly to you all we need to do is believe in the Bible. I wonder how many
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Your leaders have deceived you. Paul never corrected the method of baptism. The apostles corrected the people when they taught false doctrines like, Jesus didn't rise from the grave, baptizing dead people, teaching "other gods", circumcision. The Chrisitan churches are NOT divided. ALL teach that God is infinite, God is ONE, Jesus is the Word, He is the Way, the Truth, the Life, His sacrifice and gift of grace is salvation, resurrection and eternal life with Him.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
There are differences within the body of Christ. Baptism is one. The sacrament is a bit different in some. The services might differ. The infinite God and gospel are the same.
In Mormonism, you have a created god. The doctrines are contrary to the Bible. Eternal life with God can only be achieved by accepting Joseph Smith, the BookofMormon, baptized by someone in authority after becoming worthy & memorizing the articles of faith, then more works & temple secrets.
Mormons are not Christian.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap is other Gods? Back to the question though about supposed "all" Christian religions is right some believe one in three some believe in three in one. If they really believe that Christ is the way, the truth, and the life wouldn't that also mean their is only one way not multiple ways? Because if taught their is more way you would also be teaching against what Christ teaches. Just like 2 +2 = 4 not 5. I studied physics for a while to every truth their is only one answer not multiples.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 You have no idea what you're talking about. Religion doesn't save. Jesus does. Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 1Cr 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let ALL THINGS be done unto EDIFYING. Eph 2:21 In whom ALL the building fitly framed together groweth unto an AN HOLY TEMPLE in the Lord: All together make THE BODY OF CHRIST
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Father which is in heaven. If a person studies about Joseph Smith truthfully they will find he asked people to find out for themselves. If you want I can find the quote were Joseph said If I never had prayed and asked God which one was true I never would of believed it myself.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Joseph told the people to seek out the truth? Where did church approved reading and anti mormon come from? Out of a hat? Mormons have no freedom to seek the truth. It's wrong to believe Jesus will meet church leaders at Missouri. It is wrong to believe that black people and American Indians were cursed by God. Joseph alone cursed skin color.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap freed him. If Christian Churches are so perfect why is that they have allowed people to own slaves in the past? The Mormon Church has never allowed such a thing. But if you want to talk about blacks holding the priesthood. Why did God only allow certain people to hold the priesthood in the Old Testament? Oh and the phrase where did the church approve reading and anti Mormon come from to me it looks like your trying to change the subject again. I am pretty sure you have ADD.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 I never said that people in the church were perfect or never made mistakes. No one is perfect. No Church is perfect. Jesus "is" perfect. Male decendants of Aaron, "by strict conformity" became priests. Skin color was never a factor. The Romans destroyed the temple & the Aaronic lineage. When Jesus said "it is finished" all priesthood, law and temple ordinance ended. The law and the prophets were until John the Baptist. We seek the kingdom. The door and the kingdom is Jesus.

@BOON70 telling us to prove wither the things he is saying are true or not. An alternate translation of prove in Greek is examine or put to the test. So question how do put the Bible to the test? Hmm, better to ask than God?
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Denying what the Bible says and asking God if the Bofmormon is true is (spiritualism). Do you know what is good? Jesus. Jesus is the "Word" of God. You have refused the Word of God to rely on evidence free spiritualism.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap So how is a person who has never read the Bible to find out if its true? My guess is ask God. How is a person to find out if the Book of Mormon is true ask God. Asking God if something is true isn't spiritualism. Spiritualism a belief that spirits of the dead communicate with the living usually through a medium (Merriam Webster) We do not use dead spirits to know the truth we use the Holy Ghost. Because who is that Mormons pray to the Father through name of Christ.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Fulfilled prophecy, historical names of people and cities found in the Bible. There it is, "evidence". You don't ask God if the Bible is true. There are prophetic testimonies even Gods own testimony telling us His Word can be trusted. When you close the Word of God to rely on your feelings, "its called spiritualism". How do you know the Holy Spirit is guiding you? Does this spirit agree with the Word of God? No it doesn't. In Mormonism, feelings take precedence over facts.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago

Well how is gonna do that we all know he isn't going to
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 The Lord does guide us continually. Jesus is the Word of God. In Him, we test all things.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Hmm you don't make sense. You can trust your feelings but then you say the Lord guides us continually? Even if you saw a sign from God how would you know its really from God? If you "feel" God has told you something how do you know that? Even if you don't admit it you still rely on your feelings. Not all the translations agree with each other as well. Some people don't even agree with the King James Version either. They are not exact translation of the other. The orignal Greek
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 You didn't understand the comment. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. The Lord has been guiding us for 2000 years. I never said to rely on feelings that disagree with what God has already said. Your Biblical translation complaining is a STRAW MAN.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago

This is the most widely used versions however it has large number of errors given that none of the writers had a
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Those translations do not say that Jesus was the spirit brother of lucifer or the Father is a created being. All of them say there is 1 God. All of them show that man is fallen and sin is great. All of them say Jesus Christ is the Word who became flesh and a servant unto death. All of them say that Jesus made the everlasting covenant. All of them say the grace of God is a free gift. Not one of them say grace can be merited or purchased with worthiness or money.

@awolLDSasap this man wasn't a Mormon his name is Irenaus. He died in 202 AD.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 I know Irenaeus. Irenaeus taught the Biblical nature of God. He was continually fighting against the gnostics who believed in many Gods that ruled over the aeons. Truth.. There is only one LORD. These elohim, "gods" are subservient to the Almighty. God is the Creator. These beings, "elohim, gods" were created to serve the One Infinite LORD. Mortals become children of God, "like the angels were called the sons of God" when spiritual rebirth occurs.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap My question to you is what does the word Elohim mean to you? I also ask you to be respectful of that name. I also notice you give a quote but no reference. So I don't even know if what your saying is true. Its like I said before I am not going to take your word on it.
BOON70 1 year ago
Mormons have the wrong name useage.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago

BOON70 11 months ago

The Infinite Creator of all things cannot be a spirit brother to anyone.
awolLDSasap 11 months ago

BOON70 11 months ago
@awolLDSasap when translated back to Hebrew this is what you find Yahweh-Elohim. You also find the short from for the word Elohim all though out the scriptures. You will also find angels speaking on behalf of God or Christ Genesis 22:11-12; Exodus 3:2, 6; 23:20–21; Revelation 1:1; 19:9–13; 22:8–16. Otherwise divine investiture all throughout the scriptures. Again I can see that all you have done is proved again that all you have done is read something off some website about Anti Mormonism.

This is a waste of time. Lets start back at the beginning.

Have it your way, brag away...
awolLDSasap 11 months ago
@BOON70 Mormon context of the Bible is corrupt. Elohim is not the name of God. Elohim is the plural. It would be the Father, Son and Spirit. YHWH led to Yahweh as the God of the Israelites. Yahweh became Jehovah as the name of God.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap decent understanding of Hebrew.

Here is another
BOON70 1 year ago

In parting "there is no sin after death" "No CHOICE"
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Oh and the section on spam looks to me like someone needs to keep on subject again. Oh and you after you talked about spam all that stuff you wrote I would consider that as spam. What is spam? Disruptive messages or messages that go completely off subject. We were talking spiritualism. You really need to control temper or I don't know maybe do have ADD.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 You're at the wrong video. No one cares about your spam complaints. I've told you this before. Make your point or comment about anything you like. If you start name calling or insert personal attacks I'm going to return fire.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap What also can be considered as spam is a message that is just said in anger rather than talking of one subject goes and talks of ten different ones. For once try having a more organized message. Not only that you would make more sense. You always tend to bring up scriptures that have nothing to do with what is being talked about. If your going to quote someone or a scripture actually make it something about what we are talking about. Once we are done with that subject you can moveon

On our own, our works and motives are worthless.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago

Maybe that should of said
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Their heart burned within them because of Jesus Christ. We are never told to pray about the Bibles truthfulness. Jesus is the Word of God and the Word was God.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap I think we have been over 2x baptism for the dead. You point out just 1 Cor 15:29. But any person who reads 1 Cor 15:1-29 will see what Paul is saying if we do not believe in the resurrection why do we do baptisms for the dead? Oh and we don't baptize dead bodies. Do take note your talking to a "Active Mormon" who has done baptisms for the dead. Also that you never been a Mormon. What other Gods do we teach unless your mean teaching God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 What other gods you ask? Created, exalted mortals are the gods of Mormonism. Those gods are NOT the God of the Bible. You are not Christian. You do not keep the commandments. Josephs restoration was a mirror image of Darwins theory of evolution. Josephs restoration is the evolution of man into gods. This idea came from Satan himself. Satan wanted men to raise themselves up and lower the glory of God.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap If you ever actually studied Mormonism we only worship one God Jesus Christ. You say religion doesn't save thats kinda of oxymoron to me. If thats true that means all religion saves otherwise you talking to me about Mormonism is a waste of your time. Why is it so important that we find the true religion? I will let you answer rather than me just telling u. I don't know why you brought up 1 Cor 14:26 sounds like more babbling to me. Eph 2:21 doesn't go with the subject matter.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 I've said it before. Religion doesn't save anyone. Jesus does. Mormons do not worship or pray to Jesus. To Mormons, Jesus is not the Mighty, Eternal God.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap So saying in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. at the end of prayers doesn't mean anything okay. Gee you throw what ever you want and go on babbling don't you. John 3:7 doesn't talk about 3000 people being baptized. Yeah we do believe you put on the name of Christ when your are baptized. Yeah its true we are baptized by the spirit as well to complete baptism. Ah guess what I know religion doesn't save anyone only Jesus does even says that in the Book of Mormon. If we are to never to
BOON70 1 year ago
"Mormons never talk to Jesus". In baptism, "we put on Christ" and testify that "His perfection" has removed our sin and that we have become one in his flock. No mortal has power to confirm the Holy Ghost on another person. Only "God the Holy Ghost" can do this.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Jesus never talked himself either when he prayed. He talked to his Father. Don't you guys believe in following the example of Christ so if he prayed to his Father who should we pray too?
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 You can't seem to get it through your thick head. I've told you before. Jesus is not the Father. Christians "put on Christ" when they are baptized. Christians do not follow men who claim works and money are necessary for salvation. "In Christ" we are led unto good works and offerings to help the less fortunate and support the shepherds.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap If you have multiples its called a theory. It also can be theory if you don't have all the information. But since we try saying all Christian religions are true why do they believe in the Bible so differently? Do take in mind Christ said he was the "truth" so what ever religion has the most truth in it would bring you closer to Christ than the others. You said also that to gain eternal life one has to accept Joseph Smith if Joseph Smith is a true prophet if you reject you reject
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Jesus is the truth. Joseph Smith is a false prophet. He is leading millions into death. To satisfy the craving of the human mind to know what is going on in the Spirit World, Satan invented "Spiritualism", "feelings", and when interest in it began to wane he revived it under the name of "Psychical Research." This system has existed from the earliest ages and has the UNqualified CONDEMNATION of the Scriptures. LIKE Joseph made up "as far as it is translated correctly" Joseph LIED.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap You talk of Spiritualism first off you don't give any scriptures to back up what your saying second the scriptures back up feeling the spirit. Acts 2:37 What is going on is it the day Pentecost there are many gather together they all speak different languages. If you want to dig deeper what says the Bible is true? Because you said so or because some preacher said so? Well you might say well because I have this evidence that proves it
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Did you notice the 3000 had been reborn in the spirit of God and proceeded to be baptized to "put on Christ" to become his followers? 1Cr 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Baptism does not guarantee rebirth in the spirit of God.

BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 The Christian churches are numerous like the creations of God. The Christian churches could be compared to the many different kinds of planets. All of the churches believe the same gospel. Jesus is God. His atonement occured on the cross and his sacrifice was sufficient to save the whole world. How did Peter know that Jesus was the Christ? Fulfilled prophecy, miracles and He rose from the dead. The apostles worshipped Jesus as the mighty God, "Isa 9:6".
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap Isa 9:6 doesn't say anything about worshiping Christ. In fact the whole chapter has nothing to do with worshiping Christ. Its like I said before you just make up stuff as you go. Joseph didn't curse skin color nor did he hate people that were different than him. A black man was arrested for selling alcohol in Missouri. Joseph asked why he did it. He said to get money to free his brother. Joseph brought his best horse said to the man take my horse sell it to free your brother and
BOON70 1 year ago

BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 The Christian churches together are, "the Holy Temple". 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these THREE are ONE. (Satan), hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the IMAGE of God, should shine unto them." 2 Cor. 4:3,4.To this end Satan has his preachers who preach "Another Gospel." Gal. 1:6-9.
Mormonism is another gospel. Jesus is not a spirit brother.
awolLDSasap 1 year ago
@awolLDSasap they had bad bread and said it was not the Christ. If a person looks at the Book of Mormon it doesn't ask a person to look for evidence in these things except it be through the spirit. Moroni 10:3-5 In Gal 5:22-23 Paul talks about the feelings of the Spirit. So if anything you deny the power of the spirit. You also deny that one can find the truth through the spirit. You talk of a house divided. Well you have all these different denominations within the Christian religion then
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 By Gods Word we test all things. If a spirit leads you to believe in a different God, "who is an exalted man" and a gospel that claims the atonement happened at Gathsemane, Its a false spirit. Truth will never come by denying the accuracy of the Bible and replacing it with feelings. That's spiritualism.

@awolLDSasap You know the church of Joseph Smith. However what you teach is the teaching of awolLDSasap and not of Christ and I can prove that.
BOON70 1 year ago
@BOON70 I can prove its the church of Joseph Smith and not the Church of Christ. Mormon doctrines insist that men are good and worthy by their works. The Bible asserts confirms that Jesus is good and his work was perfect and absolute. Mormons believe they can purchase eternal life with God. Jesus said, "it is impossible for man".

@BOON70 What you really meant is the Bookofmormon is a testament of a guy named Jesus who was born as a spirit child, who was the spirit brother of Lucifer, who became a god after living the laws and ordinances of mormonism.

My question is to you why do you think God called prophets and men to bring about his purposes he could of done it himself and did it better?
BOON70 1 year ago

BOON70 1 year ago

Those people are assholes, don't listen to them, Mormon is fine, don't even worry about it.

BOON70 2 years ago

We prefer members of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints.
amazingness12345 2 years ago
but you guys call yourselves Mormons in your commercials too.

Go figure!

As a Christian I have no fear of j.smtih or his followers, pity yes but not fear.
Bidimus1 2 years ago
The appearance of God the Father & His Son Jesus caused them to hate Joseph Smith & fear that his message to the world would prove them wrong among their own followers then, today...Christians are still trying to stop Mormonisms, but keep failing, just like the moron in this video asking stupid questions. He should go back & re-read his Bible over & over again until he understand God's own Plan of Salvation.
leSavaii 2 years ago
No man may see the face of God and live.
j.smith stated that no man can see God and live with out the "priesthood" problem is that he claims (in the official first vision.. on of several contradictory tales he made) that he saw God and Jesus BEFORE the priesthood was restored.
The plan of Salvation is in the New Testament, and no "other gospel"
The false teachings of j.smith may well sway minds, but that is true of all false religions.
When was the last change in D&C ?
Bidimus1 2 years ago
God also said that your thoughts are not His & so are your ways 'cause His ways are higher than yours....God can show Himself in His own way & to whoever He thinks is ready to meet
BIDI "The plan of Salvation is in the New Testament"...But do you understand it? Do you understand our pre-mortal, mortal & post-mortal existence?
REV.14:6..If any Christian that can prove, an angel came down from heaven & gave him/her God's Everlasting Gospel that must be preached before Jesus return then maybe..
leSavaii 2 years ago
Please cite in the New Testament "pre-mortal"
Galatians 1:8 "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned"
The Angels in Rev. Teach no new doctrine nor any new gospel as j.smith claims he had taught to him by morini

Everyone knows that because it bothers some LDS to be called "Mormons" it logically flows that all Mormons are either sensitive or hot-tempered.

"The problem is Mormon is not a real person."
