Circumcision was not a command from our maker. In the old testament people had turned away from God and he did not approve of anything they did after they were removed from the Garden of Eden. They were removed for eating the Kola nut which goes against human instinct. Humans did nothing that God approved of until Jesus brought his teachings.

But, I currently must wear underwear when I run because I was circumcised. In the New Testament it says that circumcision should not be done if it has not already been done.

At 3:42, the best time for the baby to have part of his genitals amputated is NEVER. If an 18-year old adult would like to do that to himself, he has that right. "Personal choice for each parents" is an oxymoron. The only "personal" choice is to let the boy decide himself when he is old enough.

I did not allow my son to be circumcised and he is 12 now and has never had a problem and is very thankful that we left him intact! Most americans do it because its the common thing to do, its a vanity issue not a religeous one. What does the Word say about it? To this very day gentiles are not required to be circumcised to be followers of YHVH unless they wish to convert to Judaism. Paul you didn't really address the scriptural aspect, I would like to hear more about what the word says.

There is NO HEALTH BENEFIT from circumcision. It is GENITAL MUTILATION and a product of DEEPLY sick minds. THIS IS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION!!! It's well known that rape is made easier for men if they've been circumsized as they no longer have their foreskin attached to their glans via the frenulum. This is a barbaric ritual practiced so men don't feel pain (since the foreskin and frenulum is gone) if they FORCE themselves into someone who is not adequately aroused, ie. a rape victim.

I have lyme disease have seen 3 lyme literate doctors, one very well known dr. He is very pro antibiotic and I was on them for a while and I also used plant stem cells which, for me, gave me the most relief for my symptoms. I think the most success stories I have heard are from people who have treated it naturally but ultimately it's what each person feels the most comfortable with. Each person knows what is best for his/her body. I'm against meds but lyme is different, it can be very helpful.

The thing about this is it is great advice except for Christian, because we believe in Christ and that he came again and through him the old law is no more. So the old laws that most Jewish and Muslim religions follow are not for Christians. Especially in the LDS religion because we have the Word of Wisdom which is the new recommendation from the Lord. In there it tells us not to drink any alcohol, nor tobacco, nor hot drinks such as coffee and tea. We should eat herbs in their season, fruit

I made a couple of comments to this video about lyme disease and circumcision, but I can't find my comments listed below the video. Did you get them from me? (Laura Sutton, babahini@yahoo.com) I mentioned that I had contracted lyme disease about 9 years ago, and took the antibiotics. I've had no symptoms since then, so that's what I recommend.

OMG-d, seriously - read up on circumcision. Many Jews are choosing the ritual, rather than the actual cutting! You have a choice. Please educate yourself. Circumcision is MALE genital mutilation. You are removing an entire 3 x 5 index card piece of extremely sensitive and necessary tissue!!! It's there to protect the glans. I feed myself and my dog on about $25 a week. It would be nice to afford luxury eating. At most I spend is $150 a month and yes I eat lots of fresh produce and prepare all my meals. And when I travel I still can eat on $10 a day or less.

For some, the thought of believing the bible is a difficult one, due to the level of human writings as opposed to spiritual writings. Thanks for mentioning the Lyme disease, Paul. My boyfriend just completed two weeks of Doxycycline, and he feels somewhat better than when he was diagnosed, BUT he is still not the sam person. He is tired all the time.

My basic take on circumcision is this....God does not make bodies imperfect. We come into this world with everything we need physiologically speaking. Human have gotten themselves into a LOT of troube thinking they can "improve" on God's design. We circumcise foreskin, remove gallbladders, tonsils, adenoids and other body parts because we think they don't serve a real purpose. EVERY body part serves an important purpose and should remain intact...including foreskin.

$200 a week? OMG... we are 2 adults and eat on $200 a MONTH ! That's all we can afford. We can't afford a lot of fresh raw so we use frozen blueberries and frozen brocoli a LOT. It's not fresh but it beats pasta and meats LOL

Rife machines are great for Lyme disease. It seems inconsistent to me that you don't recommend a close shave for your face but do for the genitals! Please do more research and discover the benefits of foreskin- you might be surprised.
