  • Nice!

  • Wow, props to you, sir! I've always wanted to build a penny farthing version of this design (three 20" wheels instead of one 60"). Good on you for going through with it. I hope it's as much fun to ride as it looks.

  • what makes this "BMX"? I know a guy with a three wheeled unicycle that looks like that

  • Hey Bruce i was wondering, i understand the look of the mag wheels is amazing but arent you afraid with all that weight that they might break? Ever have any issues with the mag wheels?

  • @Btalaga No issues at all. Also, I checked with Tom Miller who built some of this unicycle and he thought it would be fine. My thinking is that these are BMX wheels and BMX riders usually do jumps and bunny hops, etc. That is a lot more force than what I do which is always smooth, so I dont foresee any problems. I check them though to make sure.

  • cool

  • How are your knees?

  • @renardmigrant Knees are holding up good. I dont plan to jump off a higher unicycle though....lol

  • Hey! That's not a unicycle! It's a tricycle! hahahhaaahahahaa

Just kidding. That looks really cool! You gonna be at WJF or IJA this month Bruce?

  • @thegoheads No plans. I am working straight through until mid Sept like everyday practically so not this year. It was nice meeting you though last year at IJA

  • Hey, I know that place ;)

  • @juggler4rent I looked around for you and your dad, guess you weren't there. Yesterday was really good out there even though I figured there were going to be a lot more people considering the 4th of July weekend.

  • very nice!

  • Nice stuff! As though the standard 1 wheel wasn't hard enough haha...

Now a question... did you ever build one with two? Wouldn't it confuse a pretty big deal as front and back would switch?

  • @bozobozo This unicycle could be either 1, 2 or 3 wheels and it still works the same. The chain is the difference because the chain controls the bottom wheel regardless of how many is above it........ I did try 2 wheels on my old one and decided to not mess with it. It is like relearning it.
