Just to understand: how can you insert a 4x5 sheet film holder in a Spectra camera; 4x5 sheet film holder is 120mm. wide, while Spectra film holder is 104mm. wide?
Hello, just curious does it take a lot of effort to modify the spectra to make it work?
I also shot 4x5 and got a spectra camera at hand, your video really inspire me to shot it on 4x5, is there any sample work? will it cover the whole film area?
@fallingwatter Yes there is quite a difference. The Spectra was made for 640 ASA film and I used 100 ASA film. I used a neutral density filter over the light sensor on the camera to fool it into thinking there was not enough light and increasing the exposure. I got the virtual ASA down to 115 ASA...well within the latitude of the film.
@NanoBurger You can do even better: loading the film holder with Ilforf HP5 that has a nominal speed of 400 ASA, except when and if you than develop in Diafine: in this case you have to expose at 640 ASA and this match the camera bias...
where is the video of how to modify?

Sn. This mod uses 3X4 sheet film holders, not 4X5 sheet film holders. 4X5 holders won't fit into the mouth of the camera.
