  • at least in nyc its 50 dollars no points

  • In order to convict anybody of any crime, the state must prove it beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. How can the state asses a criminal charge against a vehicle? It could have been me driving. All you need to do is plead not guilty and the prosecution would have to prove the identity of the driver, which the video does not show.

  • which truck is urs?

  • ha whats the polka song? sounds like big lou or something...anyways 2 of my family members were already given tickets for another driver, so i went to order covers from photoblocker and walla, problems all gone, no tickets since and i'm bad cause i run the red lights on purpose if it goes from amber to red and i'm going through and still no tickets so i suggest you get some for peace of mind!

  • You have the right to confront you acuser in court under the constitution, Who they going to bring in, The camera.

  • They probably think that someone as stupid as you wouln't ask these questions??

  • did you know that yellow lights mean slow down and get ready to stop NOT speed up and quick make it, i dont feel bad

  • Lol why are you mad? you werent even on your fucking side of the road through the turn...

  • The light was red with Green Arrow. Then moved to yellow arrow. Then it changed as you came up to the intersection. When it changed red, your car or truck was behind the stop line. The red light stayed red to allow the oncoming traffic making left turns. It stayed for three seconds (on your video). Then went to green.

At least your fine was under $60. Brick, NJ is now around $80+.

  • @crazyknarf Yes The truck was wrong. Just a tricky light!

  • Your right! The internet you really do not have rights under our constitution, they can kick you off anytime or not play this video, but we would not be able to view the internet or this video without our first amendment rights in the USA. My video's do not get played in countries with dictatorships or countries without any constitutional rights. Be glad you live here in the USA and not there! It could be a lot worse...

  • red light cameras dont do anything to prevent crashes. if they did they why are people still getting into accidents?

  • This was stupid

  • When I approach these intersections, I can feel the tension mounting. I'm usually just trying to stay with the flow of traffic, speed-wise. So if I'm unlucky enough to be in that small segment that may or may not make it, the question always arises... If the light turns yellow, do I hit the brakes & risk almost certain injury or death due to the person tailgating me? Or do I speed up & get a ticket? The SYSTEM has placed ITS GREED over your safety!

  • @FlimFlam7607 PS: This same post is NOT ALLOWED in almost every one of the other red light camera videos here on YouTube.

    FIGURE IT OUT.

  • @FlimFlam7607 The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

  • @Hippiegeo Congress has made no law. So what's your point?

  • @FlimFlam7607 We all as Americans have the right to post videos like this one under our first amendment right of freedom of speech. It's the first amendment that keeps our Government in check with the freedom of speech without infringing on the freedom of Press. You are right that The SYSTEM has placed ITS GREED over your safety! I can't see any more going through an intersection in NY. Lights are flashing everywhere!

  • @Hippiegeo Freedom of speech?? The first amendment??? Where do you think you are? Do you think that because America rules the world with its military that the entire internet... the World Wide Web... is somehow encapsulated there? You are not protected by the bill of rights on the web, baby! Ask INTERPOL. The net does not belong to the USA. Arrogant creep. No wonder the rest of the world hates us.

BTW, I saw another rear-end collision today. At the light that I traverse thru daily. 3rd one now

  • Got caught as well... Except the light shows me UNDER the light while it is green... Plus note video I just posted, see SPARKIE951 in YOUTUBE. Yellow Light was only 2.9 seconds long.

  • would cost $250 down here in Oz. Stop accidents, no. Raise revenues-yes.

  • ok? but where did u get that vid of u runnin the red light?

  • @Lightningflash243 Off The web site to pay the ticket..

  • @Hippiegeo srry for asking... but do u know the website?

  • oh snap... srry about the h

  • Previously heard story from a friend whom now deceased via third party, that was talking about aiming photo camera lenses with a 5$ laser pointer during daylight hours, in securing to affixed object. Need red sunglasses to see laser beam in daylight, similar to red sun glasses carpenters use when working with rotating laser levels in daylight hours; though red beam visible at night. Investigators covertly use similar laser beams that picks-up audio recordings off windows/windshields; go figure.

  • @johnnybagofdonets Now I heard it all!

  • this is at Grand Avenue in Baldwin!

  • @TopHatDrumming That is correct

  • Its Newyork... Land of the Fonz... Ehhhhh....?!dfgd

  • what a scam. LOL

  • @grodenbarg It seems that way

  • Yeah this isn't a matter of the light turning red for some fraction of a second. It is that the protected left was totally done by the time you went through the light. The solid green light would not have made slicing in font of those cars (which had the right of way) acceptable. You could turn left after they cleared if your solid green was still present.

  • @inoregon Which ever way you look at it, My truck still missed it by 1.5 thousands of a second resulting with a red light ticket.

  • You ran a red light, that's all there is to say. The yellow arrow means get ready to stop. You didn't. Also, your grammar/spelling is atrocious. What school system did you go to???

  • @Rudy2828 Thanks for pointing that out! You must be a Genius..

  • lol the light works ok and the ticket is good. u did pass the red light even if it turner green after. and that doenst even mother bocause u have to let the other cars pass first. so it is a violation lol

  • @patoduck1989 Yes there was a violation here, Most lights stay green once they are green. This one didn't. It fooled my driver. The next Violation was $ 54.00 that went to Phoenix Arizona! Not Nassau County New York..

  • did it rise

  • @Darayaray No

  • @Hippiegeo yea ok sweet

  • This will allow for an extra second for the intersection to clear... not to jam more cars through each light cycle.

It is a good idea, this light..... It should cut down on T-bone accidents like mine... I hit him then bounced across three lanes and hit two more drivers head on!

  • OK I am not saying you are in the wrong....it is true that many lights go green arrow, yellow arrow, full green. But I like how this one is timed. I was recently a victim in a 4 car crash where it did green arrow, yellow arrow, green and the driver did the same as you trying to beat the oncoming traffic and well he lost...I was approaching the intersection and my light turned green so I just kept going...I T-boned him because he did not yield his left turn to my green light...Bravo designer

  • where in nassau county was this?

  • @lovemeforever143 Grand Av & Merrick rd. Be careful!

  • @Hippiegeo I'm not over there that much, but if i am I will be careful.

  • Not confusing at all. You didn't make it in the time allotted for the left turn lane to turn. By the time you crossed the line, the light was red. You should've stopped when you seen the amber arrow. It means the same as a regular yellow light..."Slow down and prepare to stop! I'm about to turn red!"

  • @supreme2005 No doubt, most lights turn green after the amber arrow,, this one didn’t.

  • @Hippiegeo True. I know a few lights where it turns red. I guess it helps to know about how the intersection works.

  • Looking at the video it appears the amber arrow was less than the federally mandated 3 seconds.

  • were payin a private organization for violations?

  • @Security98 It almost seems that way but I doubt it..

  • WTH? dat light is hopping all over the place!!!?? i bet there is som1 watching through the video and as soon as he see's sum1 is in trouble..quickly changes the color. anyone agree?

  • You are a Victim of CAMERA FRAUD!!!

    RedFlex Got you!!!

DON"T PAY THE TICKET!!!! Pure and simple!!!!

  • That yellow arrow was way too short. Nassau County is raking in loads of money on these. Its been proven when the cameras are installed they shorten the yellow phase.

  • @PinePowerLI The yellow arrow should not go red at all. It should just go green.

  • @Hippiegeo If it goes green, you still technically have to stop because oncoming traffic would have the right of way. Of course, the camera wouldn't be able to recognize that.

  • The green arrow says that you have a protected left turn. Yellow arrow warns the the protected turn is ending, and that you should slow down. The driver clearly went through the intersection after the yellow arrow disappeared, and the light was still red. Nothing to argue about this ticket.

  • That's why I paid the ticket. There are lights that have the green arrow then the yellow & then just turn green. This light didn't do that. So be careful out there. The State needs money LOL

  • @Hippiegeo The solid light won't turn green until traffic has cleared from the opposing left turn lane. Your light turned red to let the traffic on the other side of the road go ahead because your left turn lane was clear according to the sensors. The DOT does that do ease traffic flow, not to earn the State more money.

  • @yourwifecalledagain That maybe true, Bottom line it still boils down to who is going to pay for it. If the DOT really cared about traffic control. All the

traffic lights on main roads would be timed like they are in NYC. where they really need to care about traffic. Instead we have to stop at every shopping center on the way home becuase one light turns green & the next one is red so traffic just gets backed up. It wastes a lot fuel & creates a lot of pollution for us to breathe.

  • Wonder if the black truck that is in the intersection got at ticket?

  • I don't know, maybe not.

  • Those left turn arrows are never long enough! Just another way for the county to make revenue.

  • LOL GRAND AVENUE AND MERRICK ROAD!!!

    BALDWIN!!!

I have 4 of them already, Me and my friends are all throwing in $10 a piece, then we plan on having another friend blow the light, so we can take a group picture!

  • That's right !!

  • Its a company that does this for the state. Then, they split the profits. Kind of like if you and your friend stole an old ladys pocket book & split the cash. Its the same thing.

But this is "LEAGAL" according to the law.

Just because its leagal, it doesent make it RIGHT!!!!!

FUCK these people. Get photo blocker for your plates. GOOGLE IT......

  • Your right about my bad English grammar. Something I've known about, I'm always being corrected. Thanks for pointing it out. I will edit your point.

  • If the light turns green it should stay green. This light turned red for two seconds after the green. Then turned green again. If my driver stopped short there could have been a crash. The speed was 24 mph it says on the notice. Slow but fast enough to flip the truck if it stopped short. I just paid the Nassau county New York fine to Cincinnati Ohio. I just thought that was odd.

  • i dont see the problem. the light was red and the guy turned anyway. you cant just keep going and saying ahh it will turn green by the time i get there. u go when it turns green. not before or after. if it went from green to red real fast, then i could understand that. but that isnt the case here.

it also kills me to see THAN instead of THEN. thats not a type-o mistake. that is just bad english. because you were thinking "THAN" in your head when you wrote it. you meant to do it. bad grammar.

  • What the heck? Sounds like the timing of the light is off by a little.. Or the timing of the red light camera is.. Shouldn't they be in perfect sync ?

How did you find the footage of your truck going through the intersection?
