Dan Zeng Jia Cuo, the real name of the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.

He was born on July 6th, 1935. On Feb 5th, 1940, he got approval from Republic of China to be the 14th Dalai Lama. On Feb 22nd,he became the Spiritual Leader of Tibet at the Potala Palace.

Why did Dan Zeng Jia Cuo need Chinese Government approval to be the Spiritual Leader of Tibetan?

The only answer is "Tibet was part of China". So what is the problem for it is part of China now?

Dalai was a brutal slave owner but got overthrown by CCP. He was later on the payroll of CIA, organized a hopeless guerrilla war against CCP, and was miserably abandoned by US. It was so pathetic of him to hide his real face and started a PR campaign by pretending to be a sole spiritual leader. This makes him quite appealing to those who fears a stronger China very well, but doesn't really help. He still has neither the power nor the credit to initiate a bargain on the Tibet issue at all.

I happend to have some nice American friends who are Christian missionaries. If Tibet do become independent and free, they will be very happy to go there and spread Jesus's good news to them.

We've already liberated Iraq from Saddam. Then we gave it to Iran. Dick Cheney just wasn't thinking ahead.

The way we defeated the Soviet Union was by NOT invading Russia. Now we should be focussed on acquiring all of the Soviet nuclear weapons before an impoverished Russia starts selling them to the highest bidder.
