  • And nailssssss. M13!

  • i THINK it is m13. you can hear the little things in his voice.

  • he aint m13. or is he???

  • he doesn't sound like m13 at all

  • Ahhh, so that's what I look like........hmmm......not how I imagined me.

  • I'm pretty sure this moosediggler guy is like "WHO THE FUCK IS M13, AND WHY IS EVERYONE COMMENTING ON THIS VIDEO?!?! "

  • Thumbs up if you're just here to see if its M13 XD?!?

  • Mordeth is giving this guy a lot of views

  • so thats M13?

  • just from the eyes you can tell its not m13

  • not how i imagined m13. therefore it is not.

  • The voice, body type, and eyes do not match Mordeth.

  • It says his name is Cameron Wiebe. Also I don't think M13 was teaching in Taiwan at this time.

  • M13 owns your ass at teaching. You're a fucking kid yourself and you treat your class kids like fucking larvae. M13 mentally damages them, thus preparing them for the real world. +he speaks chinese.

  • THIS IS NOT M13.

M13 has a cleft chin. You don't have to wonder if this guy is him anymore haha

  • How he says, "garbage" it totally sounds like M13

  • m13! xD

  • This isn't M13 because M13 says he's only been a teacher for 9 months, and this was filmed in 2006

  • @bowboys2007 He doesn't have to tell the truth on his account! :D

  • m 13?

  • Hi there! Do you need some kind of credential like a tesl certificate in order to work in one of those cram schools in taiwan. Unfortunately for me as an Asian who can speak mandarin and english very fluent but still unable to get a teaching job at hess! What is that? I've been staying there for a year and I only can teach english as a private tutor . I guess hess has a thing for white native speakers and not asian people who can handle both language exceptionally!

  • This was filmed in 2006, Mordeth probably lost 20 pounds since then. It is definitely him, by his eyes, eyebrows, and voice tone and inflection!

  • i don't believe this is Mordeth 13 firstly he doesn't fit m13's build as you can see on the Taiwan tour pictures by googling. secondly this guy, called Cameron wiebe is Canadian although not from Winnipeg, he has a wife and kid but the kid is way too young and his wife is south African and speaks English. m13's wife wont speak English hopefully if she does she will have seen the videos, and m13's wife if Taiwanese.

yes i know im a fucking genius

i got this information from facebook.

  • Yep, thats Mordeth. Compare his Eyes to his Ninja Videos/Pics (When he wears the black mask).

I didnt really think he'd look like this, but Either way, hes Awesome.

  • not to mention m13's eyebrows look nothing like this.

  • I'd have to say not M13. The manner in which this guy speaks is totally different. This guy uses tag questions at the end of some of his sentences. like blah blah, right? blah blah blah, you know? People who have studied english language will know what im talking about haha

  • m13 is alot smaller than this.

  • OMG i had a total different vision if M13 but i dont care! =)

  • @BackDoorFreak07 i dont think this him...doesnt sound like him

  • @rmysterio80 The quest continues to find M13's real identity...

  • Dude it is definitely not M13, listen to his voice man, sounds nothing like him, this guy has a different build as well.

  • m13 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MORDETH13 FTW! WOOT!

  • This isn't Mordeth13. If you pause this video on the man's face and then pause Mordeth's video of him wearing a ski mask, you can see some differences. This man's eyes are smaller than Mordeth's and the distance between his eyebrows is also smaller. Same with the distance between the inner most part of his eyebrow and the inside corner of his eye. Also, Mordeth's voice is a little higher in pitch.

  • @Windstruck812 no, it is M13, we did check shots if his eyes, also his wedding photo where he shows alot of his face you can definately see its him, he also has his hairy arms - and his motioning is 'flamboyant' like Mordeths. But of course, i could be wrong..lol

  • HAHA THATS M13!

  • I just spent a hour contrasting this videos to mordeth's to figure out if its him.

WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE!!!!

  • mordeth in a few years..

  • @DemonCovenant that is mordeth

  • This guy is bad ass! Great work.

  • Do you get given a syllabus to teach and teaching material?

I'm considering studying up on my grammar and getting a TEFL. Unfortunately I have no teaching experience, which makes me worried if about knowing what to teach students everyday.

  • Are the average Taiwanese students as fluent as these? I'm going there soon. I've taught young Thai students for 5 years and only the international programs have students that are so well spoken.

  • The Teacher is Mordeth13 lol

  • @DROPSOF198

This guy's a bit fat to be Mordeth13...but it does sound like him =) Maybe he just had too much rice

  • @Dayao12 Maybe a premenstrual Mordeth 13 - lol

  • wow.. were you a english Teacher before you went there? you seem soo natuaral at it!

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with you

    Taiwan 加油

  • do you need to be able to speek mandarin or taiwanese to tech english in taiwan?

  • No, you don't. Classes are usually alternated with a local teacher who is in the classroom while the foreigner teaches. Having said that, both teachers will only speak English while teaching in order to create an immersion environment.

  • Im planning on teaching english in taiwan in the very near future, is there still a shortage for this type of teacher?

Honestly I dont want to go and then find out everyone is trying to teach english.

  • To Mr. IronJackalTw

I'm Taiwanese and u don't really hav to be tht mad at americans. And u say u're ESL teacher sux like crap but u're english seems to be very fluent~

  • wow they're really good at english at such a young age. Awesome teaching btw.

  • very cool! thanks for the inpiration!

  • worldlybrit, I made this video. I have taught for Hess. I no longer work for them and am free to say what i want. The kids were not hand picked, I simply choose a teacher who had a good reputation and filmed one of his classes. Hess has more than one language system, the one featured here is completely different than listen and reapeat, it depends on having a good teacher, but with one it can be awesome as is shown here by this completely unscripted calss!

  • Thank you so much for your comment here. You are very helpful.:) I'm thinking of taking Chinese lessons at a language school in TW for a semester or so. I'm hoping to teach English and/or Japanese while I'm there. (I used to tutor both when I was in college and enjoyed a lot.) I'll research more before I leave. Thanks, again!

  • worldlybrit,

Are you teaching at HESS in Taiwan now?

Are there other schools you recommend to teach?

  • I have taught for HESS before... you could perhaps try Kojen, but I don't know what they're like. I must say however that nearly all the people I've known who work for HESS think that their 'language system' (which is full of mistakes) is boring, uninspired and doesn't leave any room for explanation, also they focus too much on things that are not useful in day-to-day practical English, such as HESS KK, these kids aren't going to be reading KK 'in the wild', they're going to be reading English!

  • Also these kids will most likely have been cherry picked for this PR / marketing hype. Most HESS schools are not like this.

  • These kids are speaking fluent English! These teachers are changing kids lives... that's amazing!

  • Oh please are you kidding me, HESS is all about scripted responses, they don't care about meaning, they just teach the kids like dogs, listen and repeat, listen and repeat, most children who go through the hess system have little understanding at the end of it.

  • Teaching in America is better.

  • "we cannot eat the fish" 0:50 haha

  • a very pleasant video.

  • lol. one kid's name is Berlin.

  • haha wow so cute! I'll be doing this in a few months too :-)

  • i'm at the start-up now and this is like wow. what an inspiration. thank you :)

  • Wow! That brings back memories! I can even hear the garbage truck in the background. I hated taking out the trash. Bothersome!

  • I thought it was the ice cream man when I first heard the music

  • great teaching!

  • wow thats amazing

    good job huh

  • nice work.

  • anybody taught in both korea and taiwan? i considered taiwan before coming to korea. been here 4 years. welcome any feedback on taiwan, especially comparing both places, educational "systems" of korea and taiwan, money, etc.

  • The teacher taught very well and gave ample opportunities to the kids, who were engaged the lesson much.

  • Oh, wow, you are such a brilliant teacher- and your kids have an astounding knowledge of English. Thank you so much for such an enlightening video.

  • Taught in Taiwan too

  • Their handwriting is better than mine lol. Darn my computer typing!

  • BTW. with the readily available brain scans now we know, that the learning of a second language, re-wires the mind in a breathtakingly revolutionary way. One can even venture to say such a far reaching statement, that as a general rule of thumb, the mind of a bi-lingual student will be superior intellectualy, in comparison to a unilingual one.

  • The level of English is absolutely brilliant, considering the tender age of the students. I can see, that you smartly cater the curriculum to the children's interest and capabilities, as oppose to the other way around.

  • Great teaching dude. You can really draw on the board, that's a big plus and convenience when teaching. Encouraging students to communicate in English is just the way to go!

  • Dude! Great teaching! Say hi to the kids from Thailand!

  • Taiwan....

  • i miss going to school in taiwan...i even remember i was in that kind of english class when i was in kindergarden

  • You are making me homesick. I used to teach in Chungli at a GES...

So how long have these kids studied?

  • They've studeied for six hours a week for the last 1.5 years. Before that they did kindergarten half in English, half in Chinese. That could be another 1,2, or 3 years depending on when they started.
