  • Asshole, everyone knows SSD is fucking fast.

  • I could tune my laptop to boot in 10 seconds. Nothing special...

Currently have a RAID 0 setup, with 2, 256gb SSDs.

Time for me to upgrade to 2, 512gb :P

  • hes got raid 12344342 hiding behind his laptop

  • why would you load all those programs on start

  • u think a ssd is magic? :O

  • listen just because it loads windows 7 and other bunch of programs that fast doesn't mean its the fastest 12" notebook and FYI i think thats pretty dam fast but i would not call that the fastest and which ssd are u using in that beast

  • liten just because it loads windows 7 and other bunch of programs that fast doesent mean its the fastest 12" netbook and FYI i think thats pretty dam fast but i would not call that the fastest and which ssd are u using in that beast

  • e sti cazzi?

  • It boots even faster than the iPhone!

  • @olivenoire1 lol dam, pc people will never give up there and accept the truth.

  • punch and pie? did you video tape the massacre? can i watch eet? 0.0

  • @wezternator and wtf is tht fucking noise you would need ear defenders to use it. sounds like a fukin boeing 747 :(

  • Whats your point with this video? the differences between notebooks and desktop PC's is virtually non-existent these days except the clocks may be a little slower to cool them down. And just about any windows 7 PC can do that - as it has true on-demand loading of software components.

    It's really nothing special

  • @wezternator the point is that this is a fast 12" notebook. Sure, you can get 14" notebooks the speed of a desktop, but there is an odd gap for these at the 12" size range. I've yet to find an out of the box 12" laptop that can beat this performance, theyre not easy to come by. Thats what makes it special, well at least that was the case at the time of recording this, now i'm not so sure

  • @conquerearth the Vaio Z

  • my hdd can boot to the desktop in 25 seconds and load all of those programs.

  • @GTAIVman is it a 12" notebook? if not, whats your point?

  • this is definitely not the fastest

  • @sbvikings30 seen one with better specs? remember i'm talking about 12" here.

  • @conquerearth its just got an ssd, you can put an ssd in any laptop and if there is an i3 or i5 laptop it boosts itself to around 2.93 ghz. and you never stated how much ram so. also the kingston ssdnow v+ isnt the greatest ssd out there. its more of the low to mid range of ssd.

  • @sbvikings30 True enough, looking around there are now 12" laptops with i5s. At the time i maxed this one out you couldnt get any faster CPU in a 12". And yes the v+ isnt the best out there, but it can still pull punches. Well its been 6 months, so thats not a bad run. I'll probably take this video down now.

  • Very nice...

  • Damn mine takes 40 seconds to start up. :(

  • @scuster45 g73jh isnt a 12 inch notebook.

  • wtf 38.3 sec my macbook make itb in 10 - 15 seconds !

  • wow dude thats crazy!!!

  • Wah! thanks for the video, it is really fast. amazing!

  • SSD making that notebook faster.

  • Blame the Kingston SSDNow V+ 128GB. This would not be possible without it.

  • probally cause its winsows 7 ultimite

  • thanks for reply i am thinking of getting the t9300 :D

  • How are you doing with Cooling of the CPU ?? does it generate more heat ??

  • the Penryn CPUs run much cooler than previous models. So luckily, no additional cooling is required.

  • this thing does not make any sense

  • @MultiDesu starting up like that has nothing with the cpu to do.

almoast all CPU's can do that, the problem with nowdays computer is that CPU is faster than the other equitment, the harddidsk writing/reading speed and the bus speed is doing this

  • what model is this one? is that the new dot m/u Packard Bell series?

  • can you dissable all that eye candy bullshit (themes, etc) like in XP? that would definately speed it up.

  • To shave a few more seconds off the boot, do this:

    1. Run msconfig

    2. Choose "Boot" tab

    3. Check the box labelled "No GUI Boot"

This will mean that the computer no longer waits for that silly animation to finish before booting into Windows proper.

  • Thanks for the tip. Silly me for assuming windows boot would be multi-threaded!

Will up a new video if it makes a significant difference to the time.

  • 38 seconds? Mine takes like 5 minutes...

    *envy* Haha.

  • Wow, that's impressive.

  • Yeah, that is fast.

  • Niiiice
