  • sorcery!

  • you probably make a bunch of those and sell them, ppl might buy them it is neat looking

  • You're such a badass

  • @SuperDuperCrazyDude actually, it could have been the real deal, cuz u gotta realize tht the NES came out in the '80s. They were JUST beginning to perfect video games, so half of the crap in an NES probably isn't even needed to make the system run.

  • @MrAertt5 To be fair though, Mario+Duck Hunt might be the easiest video game to find ever.

  • destroy mario 1 to play mario 3

  • That is really sweet looking. Good job man.

  • this is amazing :D

  • gameception

  • Thats really awesome!

  • Sick of having half the nes mods becoming dead links? well there is this new website starting up that is *dedicated* to having these kind of mods around, and alive for everyone to see! The website name is nesmods(DOT)info

Like this to put it at the top, and repost to spread the word!

  • I WANA BE A MODD-ER WHEN I GROW UP!

  • Hermoso...

  • INCEPTION

  • Great Job, Which one of the knockoffs did you use? I know you can't cram the original nes in there.

  • @SuperDuperCrazyDude I used a Power Player, which is similar to all the other Super Joy mods that you see on the internet.

  • @OkiPanoki I don't understand, This doesn't seem to be a Cartridge based Clone/Knockoff, But a plug-n-play one, How did you achieve this?

  • @SuperDuperCrazyDude Anyway, As a fellow NES enthusiast I thought I'd recommend the FC Console System by Yobo Gameware. It's Easy to find, works well, and will cost you around $30.00

  • It's disappointing that it has the crippled audio problem that all of those fauxtindos suffer.

  • CARTCEPTION!

  • NESception!

  • wait nvm im stupid im soory if i insulted u i didnt see the thing on top soooo....awkwaaaaaard lol

  • sooooo...you used a NES on ONE game instead of keeping the nes to play lots of games what a plan! XD

  • You used a retro entertainment system to make that didnt you?

  • A cartridge in a cartride? Ninception.

  • @carldude99 no it might be a CARTRIception

  • Comment removed

  • hmmm.... does it reset

  • hey bitch get a life and move out your parents house bitch!

  • @PonyBoyRed05 seems like someone is jelly of this guy

  • @PonyBoyRed05 U MAD BRO? NAH U MUST BE JELLY

  • @PonyBoyRed05 Lol A troll who is telling someone to get a life. Good one xD

  • i was half way expecting him to fry as soon as he turned on the power switch.

  • He just crammed a clone system inside an NES cartridge. Listen to the audio on the game. It does not faithfully reproduce the sound. He used a clone system.

  • @appleguyforeternity still it is pretty impressive

  • ould make and sell one i want one

  • Make a second one and plug it into this cardridge. Then make a third one and plug it into your second nes in a cardridge. Eventually you will plug in the first nes in the 4th nes. Infinite gaming loop! Now youre playing with power!

  • what is this demon magic?

  • Interesting. lol

  • .. WTF... I am ... just totally impressed ..

  • How did you do that?

  • a cartridge within a cartridge? cartriception.

  • how much will it cost for you to make me one if i supply the items needed

  • :O amazing

  • what did you ues for the 72 pin connector

  • @626fan82 thats very simple he used it from a game genie

  • @nathancool54

No most likely he gutted a NOAC (Nintendo on a Chip) NES Clone, which would of had it's own cartridge slot. A NES cart is too small to fit even the NES-101 (the smaller top loader NES) inside. NOAC's can be really small, for example the FC Mobile II

  • Convertir un cartucho del Nes.. en un Nes es épico!! Yo quiero uno :3

  • did u have an extra copy of super mario bros

  • @Yoguslayer dumbass

  • @mmdehart c'mon, dude! it was a joke! relax :P

  • Yo!! Ain't you scared of gettin' the RRoD with such a little case for your console??

  • @Yoguslayer you better be fuckin with us or you are a fucking retard who thinks every console wants to be like an xbox

  • @TheBic4 of course I was fucking with you. It was a joke, problem? You either are an unhappy bitch or a real fucking retard to think I was serious there. And don't come with bullshit like I can't say the fuck I want to. If you didn't get that, then you should a) Grow up OR b) Grow some stupid brains. 'Cause dude, that gives me reason to stop believing in people. Poor bastard.

  • like a plug and play! that could totally work! like when atari made those plug and plays, wow! that could really work... huh.. wow!

  • Yo Dawg.

  • wtf i want it how much

  • Super Mario 3 is the best Mario game ever!

  • Thts cool

  • That's one sweet NES mod

  • i actually saw a Power Player, i just briefly looked at the box and thought it was just controllers. now i want one

  • that's awesome, i want one

  • kkkk very crazy nice

  • Holy dang thats rad

  • thats sweet

  • thats the NEW NES-LITE EDITION!! Extremly Compact, Extremly Stylish!

  • WHY IN THE MOTHERFUCK IS REBECCA FUCKER IN THE SUGGESTIONS?

  • WAIT WAIT WAIT I JSUT WATCHED THE WHOLE VID AND THIS VIDEO IS RELATED TO REBECCA BLACK FRIDAY? WHAT THE HELL?

  • Yo dawg we heard you like nintendo so we put a nintendo in a nintendo cartridge so you can play nintendo on a nintendo game!

  • there is no way in hell i can do this, can i just order one from u?

  • Is that a DIY CNC I see in the background?

  • Amazing... :D It's perfect if you want to take your old NES games on the go. That is if you want to. All we have now is the PSPs, DS systems, and all that.

  • wow this is so badass... i want one!! :P

  • I miss that game. That's amazing.

  • Well done.

  • O_O amazing!!

  • More awesome than the Nintoaster, I think. :D

  • @debjoy12 it's a close call. the supernintoaster was brilliant, but this is quite magical, i will give you that!

  • Lol wow.

  • amazing and brilliant!

    (i want one with a SNES :D)

  • @dakinegk shoot, i want one with a ps3! lol, imagine putting a disk inside another disk...? lol

  • at 1:54 i can see you've removed the original pcb of that cartride to do this mod, i've seen that some games (i'm not a big nes player) has ridiculously small pcbs compared to the cartridge's size. You know what could be fun? leave inside one of these, so you can plug your nes-on-a-cartridge on an other nes or build an extension cable so you can even plug it to itself and actually play! Now THAT would me mindblowing :D

  • This is Awesome, well done Boy!!!

  • yo dawg, I heard you like cartridges, so we put a cartridge into your cartridge, so you can play while you play!

  • @knueppeltroll Damn it... .you beat me too it....

  • @knueppeltroll

    Xibit? lol

  • INCEPTION

  • INCEPTION

  • Does that thing overheat easily? lol

  • Sick bro!!!

  • It's like I'm watching Inception.

  • HOLY JIZZ-IN-PANTS!!!

  • Slick!

  • I want one.... NOW!

  • This is outstanding!

  • Dat iz Terrific

  • Awesome! Good job! If you get around to producing these let me know, as I would be interested.

  • Nice concept, would it be applicable to making a standard top loading NES? The toaster model has to many failures...

  • De lujo, en los tianguis(mx) ha como se siguen vendiendo las plataformas piratas con mario brozzz, esta seria una mejor opción.

  • pretty cool :)

  • Psssh. tell me when you can do this to the 360 and ill be impressed :P

  • That is by far the coolest thing I have ever seen. I tip my hat to you good sir.

  • AMAZING !!!

  • Very nice. Nice build.

  • 3 people never played NES.

    Ever.

  • oh you son of a bitch

  • Damn. Why did the original NES have to be so big? LOL Next video we see it's going to be a NES key chain.

  • Nice work.

  • AWESOME, and to think Nintendo could not have made it that small from the start? Hmmm.....

  • this is just to awesome! :D and i love super mario 3!! xD

  • SWEETLY SICK YO

  • wow nerds really love weird shit

  • that is...just...beautiful

  • Packing all that in must have been a tight fit. (Giggity)

  • Interesting! But I am concerned about the heating and lack of cooling. What happens with prolonged play? Hope it does not begin melting !

  • TIME PARADOX!

  • so do you have to occasionally blow on the cartridge, or the System? Wait....Wut

  • Yo dawg. I heard yo like NES games. So we put a cartridge in a cartridge so yo can play video games while yo playin video games!

  • @666Makkura666 READ THE TOP RATED COMMENTS BEFORE POSTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS ASSHOLE

  • @doodoomonster Haven't you got something better to do like getting bombed by americans?

  • @666Makkura666 AFGHANI POWAAAAAAAAAA

  • I'd want a dust cover for the pins. But its a great mod really. Comparable to those old PDA's in a atari cartridge mods.

  • Yo dawg I heard you liked Mario?...

  • ive done something like this, i find that the extra space in the original NES is for heat dissipation because my mod has overheated =(

  • This is really awesome, man. Great job! I was looking through your instructables tutorial and because I have almost no experience with electronics stuff I found some of the instructions a little hard to follow. Can you recommend a good starting project for someone new to this kind of thing?

  • Dude this is so awesome; tip of my hat to you

  • Y U NO SAVE?

  • Yo dawg, heard you like NES Cartridges...

  • lol this vid is gr8 glad i herd about it from reddit.com xD

  • @Charphog Hello fellow redditor, you can has upboat.

  • Why would anyone dislike this!?

  • Do you have to blow into both cartridges if they don't work?

  • You are amazing lol. But yes how do u prevent overheating...that would seem like a big concern...then again u could get one of those little desk fans and lay it down...then put the cartridge NES on top of it...would totally work..but may be a little to ghetto for some. Then again if ur doin this...ur already ghetto lol NICE WORK THO

  • So I noticed there is only an On/Off switch. So to reset the NES do you blow in the cartridge? :)

  • TAKE MY MONEY

    HERE JUST TAKE IT ALL

  • 3 people are SO young, that they havnt even heard of mario.

  • Yo dawg

  • How do you prevent overheating?

  • How much? I'll buy 4.

  • EDIT:Way to post before reading the comments..

  • This is the most amazing mod ive ever seen. Can you please make a tutorial so i can try this?

  • Looks like Cartridge sex

  • this could have been easily faked, but you were smart enough to include a tutorial.

    Great Job!

  • Do you still have to blow in it when it doesn't work?

  • Nice job! :)

  • Psst- That's not an LCD...

  • I love how he called that CRT (picture tube) television an LCD.

  • hmm... I've never thought about how Duck hunt wouldn't work on anything but a CRT TV until now. Interesting...

  • You are actually a pro at Mario

  • Omg, this is awesome. Who hits the thumbs down button on this stuff? Sega employees?

  • Dude! Tht is awesome!

  • 1 Person was just so jelly

  • Videogame incest.

  • Yo dawg I heard you like NES

  • man you are genius

  • This reminds me of when I was a kid and my family went to the NES game section of the zoo. I saw two games together just like that. I asked mom what they were doing, but she just looked away....

  • Witchcraft!

  • @Assclownery no warcraft

  • Does it not have to be plugged into an outlet

  • can you make me one? lmao

  • Make a second one and put it in the first one. It'll be a game within a game within a game.

  • This is amazing. Good job.

  • Great work!

    There's just one minor flaw...

    Is there no reset switch?

Cause some games will get corrupt saves if you don't hit the reset button before turning the system off.

  • Does that Mario Bros/Duck Hunt still work if you plug it into an actual NES?

  • I noticed that you have a small CNC machine in the background. Any info on that? Build info? Cost? I'm looking to start building one soon and i'm just trying to get as much info as possible from allot of homebuilders. Would much appreciative!! Thanks!!

You get too much flack for your instructable!! I thought it was great!! I've seen the whole thing in a cartridge before. Screen, controls and batteries!! Keep up the great work!!! Peace!!!

  • Yur f*cking kidding me!!! That is AMAZING!

  • Thats really cool.

  • Personal preference, I would have hid the power & av plugs in the pin side of the cart, rather than over the label, but still an impressive mod. I'm going to have to look into your tutorial. Thanks for posting.

  • no reset button to save games?

  • any chance i can purchase this from you?
